 Well, the cancer has not spread to any other major organs---good news! The current plans are a partial lumpectomy on Friday and a needle biopsy of the sentinal node. IF that is negative then they will close me up! After healing from the surgery, I will have chemo and then radiation. We are looking into other options (at this point I'm actually for a right masectomy!) and procedures. I'm still on for the Metro! I'll keep you posted after my surgery on Friday. So glad to hear that hotrox - sending hugs and positive thoughts for your surgery Friday.  And I'm so glad you'll be going to that concert. I would LOVE to be there with you. What a thing to look forward to! |

This is great news! I have been thinking and praying for you and will continue for your surgery and recovery as well. This hits home for me and I'm sure lots of others here. My sister went thru this when she turned 40 and had the same treatment as you described. She has been free and clear 7 years this Friday! Every success story is a blessing. I know yours will be too. Think of all the people here you have made aware just by posting. What a great group we have to support each other in everything! I'm blown away.
Enjoy the Metro!! And know that you are taking us all with you. In spirit at least. I'm turning green now.
