I had really bad allergies as well. I had to give a presentation one afternoon, and happened to have a chiropractor appointment at lunch. He noticed that I was stuffed up and pretty miserable. So he asked permission to massage my liver. I figured it wouldn't hurt, so he went ahead and massaged it. Within minutes, my nose cleared and I have not been bothered by allergies since. And that was about 20 years ago! Wow . . . now THAT's cool! I think I'll be going to talk to my neighbourhood chiropractor about a liver massage . . . because knowing the problems a toxic liver can cause, who knows what it might fix!

Have you asked your doctor about Botox injections for your headaches? I got the injections a couple of months ago and have been headache free ever since. The injectons are not that painful

I get migranes from time to time. Mine are always brought on just after "floaters". If I can get some pain killers in me while I still see the floaters I am ok. But once the floaters are gone the pain kicks in and there is not much I can do for it. Sometimes, it helps to put an ice pack on my head but that is about it.

Well I've been wrapping my head up in the mornings to ward off the cold...I think it's helping. I dont turn the heater on (fake hot air in house or car is too much of a change)...so far so good. And the GMAT is over... I totally tanked the math part as I figured I would. I think I did ok on the verbal and writing sections. I almost used Marty on one of my essays

I suffer from migraines too, had them since I was a teenager and it usually gets so bad that I can throw up continuously up to 7 or 8 times. I've taken excedrin but found it doesn't really alleviate the migraine. My triggers are changes in weather, chocolate, stress and loud noise.
I've found it helps to recognise when it's coming on early and to go hide in a dark, quiet room. Other ways I get around it are to use Origins Peace of Mind lotion and burn aromatherapy oils. I also used to apply a cool, methol patch on my forehead. It helps too that I have changed careers and am in more control of what I do now.
I'm glad for this thread and am going to read it again thorough to take notes and try out some of the suggestions.
