 Hi everyone! I'm still here! It took me this long to recover from the Metro!!!!!!!!    Actually, my surgery the day after Thanksgiving went really well----they did a partial mastectomy (major boob lift on one side---hubby says the other side next year for Christmas??!! ;D) and they did take all the lymph nodes from the pit. I'm feeling great! January 5th I see the oncologist to discuss chemo. I'm not looking forward to it, but I'm anxious to get in done and over with! Thanks again to all of you for your support! PS----I never did get to look at all the Metro replies---or respond-----I had a GREAT time! I TOUCHED Marty! As he was lying on the crowd during the shooting of Trees, I reached out and grabbed his left hand! Too cool! I also got a guitar pic from Dino. What a night to remember! Love, Roxanne (Hotrox)

hotrox- I think you are the bravest soul I have ever met online. I am very glad the surgery went well. Hats off to you and I hope you have a happy and healthy new year!!

Hotrox... glad to hear you are doing great!! Keep up the good spirit! The Metro show was awesome. I'm glad so many of us from the boards were able to experience that night... I brushed my fingers thru Marty's hair when he came out thru the crowd, and Sweetie got me a guitar pic too... What a night! ;D Thank you for sharing with us!! |
