First thing you need to check is if cameras are allowed. Many venues don't allow them... which means trying to sneak one in... I wouldn't try that with a good camera.

My cell has a camera and video capabilities, but my ticket says no cameras or video recording. Surely they won't be confiscating everybodys cell phones!
Besides if your lucky you'll get to meet Marty backstage and get a close up photo of the 2 of you together, right? At least thats what I'm dreaming about.
Good luck, which concert are you attending?

I've never had a cell phone taken but I've also discovered that if you take a decent digital camera with good light control (NO FLASH) that you can get away with them and in with them if you store it properly (like in your bra.) My husband also has binoculars with a camera built in. (Meade) No one takes them away.

I am going to buy a couple of disposable cameras and bring a small digital and stuff them in my boots and/or pants. Hope that works ;D

As long as you don't use flash and aren't totally obvious in your pic taking, you can do it. The binoculars are great. You can walk right in with them around your neck and no one questions them.

I've had good luck so far with taking my digital camera binoculars into concerts. When security checks the case, I just make sure I show them the end without the camera lens. I'm sure they wouldn't work well if you were too close, but if you're at least 30 feet away they take awesome close-ups. Of course they don't take too well in the dark, so when you get home, half of the pictures (the ones when the stage wasn't lit up) I end up deleting. I just got me a new pair, Busnell 3.2 megapixels. I haven't seen any higher than that yet on the binocular cameras. These should work even better than my old ones....has an extra memory card to hold over 300 pictures. I plan to max out that storage!!

I am still going to search for a disposable with flash turn off to take as well for back-up. I am going to be so-loaded down.

My old ones didn't do too bad. They were around a 2.0 mega pixel. I haven't tried my new ones yet (3.2 mega pixel), but I think I paid around $179.00 for them. My old ones were cheapo, but here's a picture I took of Billy Joe with my old ones. I guess he was moving his arm, explaining the blur. But I'm hoping my new ones will work alot better!

Wow - That's an awesome photo! I'm in the market, too, so I appreciate all the advice.

Let me know how you like your Bushnells. The Meade are great but being a techno junkie....I'm always in the market to upgrade.
