What made you happy, made you cry, made you upset, made you angry? Did you have a baby? Buy a new pet? Discover something you never thought you'd discover?

Single-handedly stage managed a 7-months-in the making show.
Fell in love twice and had my heart broken both times.

LIFEHOUSE'S THIRD ALBUM CAME OUT. IT ISN'T AS SPECTACULAR AS THE FIRST TWO BUT I'M HAPPY THAT AT LEAST THEY ARE BACK RATHER THAN FOREVER GONE.
AND OF COURSE THE HIGHLIGHT OF MY YEAR, DISCOVER MARTY CASEY AND LOVEHAMMERS.

MY SWEETIE AND I ARE FINALLY REALIZING A DREAM.... WE HAVE HAD A LOVE AFFAIR SINCE I WAS 23 - NOW I'M 48. IT WILL BE 25 YEARS JANUARY 15TH. RICH HAS BEEN MARRIED 34 YEARS... WHEN HE GOT MARRIED HIS WIFE TOLD HIM SHE WANTED AN OPEN MARRIAGE. HE'S NAIVE... VERY NAIVE. HE ADOPTED HER DAUGHTER FROM A PREVIOUS MARRIAGE, RAISED HER, AND NOW HAS TWO GRANDCHILDREN... SHE HAD AN AFFAIR WITH HIS BEST FRIEND (BEFORE MEETING ME)... AND SADLY MORE. ANYHOW, HE IS A VERY SIMPLE MAN AND SHE A VERY SAAVY CALCULATING WOMAN. RICH FINALLY STARTED TO SEE A COUNSELOR IN FEBRUARY. IN MAY HE GOT HIS OWN APARTMENT. IN NOVEMBER SHE FILED PAPERS FOR DIVORCE.... IN 25 YEARS, THIS WILL BE OUR FIRST CHRISTMAS TOGETHER. WE WENT TO THE METRO SHOW TOGETHER - IT WAS A JOY TO MEET SO MANY WONDERFUL PEOPLE FROM THE BOARDS. SOME DAY I MAY WRITE A BOOK "RICH AND RHONDA" a love story.....

Ditto pretty much, my co worker came to work the day after RS- INXS premiered and told me about it (she is a BIG tv-freak, I am not) and she said how much talent was on the show and stuff and then for about 2 weeks after that, that was all she talked (over and over..you would really like it Scott, she said) about and the songs each performer did and finally I watched an episode, first thing i see is BROOK BURKE, which is a nice addition for us guys and Mr. Dave "God" Navarro...who does not need any introductions. When I first saw Marty my thoughts were "WHO IS THIS GUY" (and why is he on here as he is obviously a seasoned performer who is MILESTONES above INXS.) So some co-workers were all talking around the water cooler at work, we were talking about Marty and someone said "He has a band that he has been in since he was 14 in Chicago" and "His bandmates are hoping he does not get the INXS gig, because they would lose him"
So I went to my google page and typed in Marty Casey or something and found the MC.ORG fansite andthen the Lovehammers site, ordered MoMM from Amazon and then got the RS-INXS songs on MSN and iTunes and everything just snowballed from there!
Other notable stuff that happened
Memorable Shows and Concerts
Duran Duran U2 Rolling Stones Paul McCartney Ozzfest Chicago/Earth, Wind, and Fire
CUTTING OFF MY HAIR WHICH WAS ALMOST TO MY BUTT happened in 2005. I miss my hair and am glad its grown over an inch since I cut it.
December 2005 has sucked ass so far. 2 accidents (one slip and fall down stairs and a nasty car accident)
I am ready for January 2006 with TWO LH/INXS shows, the new MC and the LH album and my income tax return!!! LOL

I love a man in pinstripes. I saw a guy wearing a red shirt with a black pinstriped fitted jacket today. Very sharp. I have a question. Is $60 a lot to pay for a pair of pants? I live in Canada and I know a lot of things are much more expensive here. Just wondering if there's a big price differential when it comes to clothes. This thread is a good idea. 2005 has been a good year for me. I was too sick to have a regular full-time job for about 4.5 years. On January 10, 2005, I started my current job. It felt like my life was starting all over again. Being healthy again has also made me appreciate things a whole lot more and see the world with fresh eyes and enthusiasm. Other notable events of 2005: Met my boyfriend, won a couple of design awards, had my work exhibited in Belgium, witnessed my best friend getting married, got a promotion, discovered Marty Casey and the Lovehammers, found out what a message board is, met some wonderful people here in cyber-space, welcomed the births of two good friends' first babies, and watched my beautiful niece grow from a toddler into a little girl. What made me laugh: My niece, JD Fortune and too many other things and people to count. I laugh a lot. What made me cry: News coverage of the tsunami and Katrina. I don't cry easily or often.

In 2005 I started a new job, got my own place to live, met some great new friends, both here and not here. This year has brought a lot of change for me. Being introduced to the Lovehammers brought back an old love to my life, and it made me happy to see someone follow their dream and make it happen. You don't see too much of that anymore, most people give up for lack of ease. I did. Rockstar Inxs got me in touch with many wonderful people and an excellent hot group of guys who give their all to their fans everytime they step on a stage. It's been a great year. Next year I hope will be even better. For them and for me. (just realized me and Juliana must have been posting here at the same time....she stalks me)

2005 -- started off horribly cause we were so freaked out by the tsunami. But boy it got better. Flew to Chicago to see U2 for first time evah -- greatest weekend of my life to date. Front row for Sting (I mean standing in front of his microphone front row.) Visited Egypt and Bermuda for first time. Went to my bro's wedding in Japan. Listened to my little sister when she said, "You have GOT to watch RS:INXS" Discovered Marty, Hammers, hammerheads and the great fans at mc.org. Then booked flight back to chicago to see Marty et al in February. so 2006 is lookin' good!

2006 is looking great for you chk...
Hmm so my 2005:- * Broke my finger * Met some amazing people at gigs * Discovered Marty Casey and the Lovehammers (probably the best thing ever to happen to me because they have changed my views on so much) * Discovered this site and the wonderful people on it * Was taken advantage of by someone 14 years older then me, keep in mind i'm not even 20 yet. He took things too far when i said no. * I ended up confused, crushed and feeling shattered, till i discovered the song "Use Me", it sorta made me feel like i wasn't the only one going through that sort of stuff. * Discovered my ex-boyfriend now has a son. * Found a lump in my breast which i've had for about 6 months now, still not too sure on what it is though so i'm awaiting a biopsy. * Went to the Taste of Chaos Festival and the Children of Swarm Festival.
Hopefully in 2006 i'll witness the Lovehammers play here in Brisbane, Australia. Already got tix to a festival so i'm looking foward to that.

I've had a weird year. I spent it working in 7 states. The summer months were in the west (SD, UT and WY) and I absolutely fell in love with it.
I got sick and had to take some time off (majorly pissed off some people) but have spent more time with my husband and daughter than I have in over 5 years.
Of course, Marty. He was happening when I was out west and I shared with all. We had pizza and beer parties when the show was on.
I made some good friends to make up for the ones I pissed off.
Hubby and kiddo are happy to have me home for a while. I've been able to address other health problems and get some neglected things taken care of.
I found this board and they graciously let me take care of the Fan Art stuff which I love getting. So much talent out there!
For 2006, I just want less hurricanes, tornadoes and suffering for everyone. I want my kiddo to get her licence and for me to work out west again.
