Not really about Rock Star, but I wanted to comment about this. American Idol has a ton of power! One of the AI contestants sang a song by a band named Fuel last night and out of curiousity, I checked Amazon's music sales for the album. The album that the song was on was ranked 40,000+ yesterday and is ranked 189 today! Is that power or what!?
We need to have someone on American Idol cover a Lovehammers tune!

That's too weird...I was thinking hey...what if someone got up for an initial audition and were asked...."okay...what song are you going to sing for us today?" And the reply was "I'm going to sing a Lovehammer song called Casualty!!!!" How appropriate the lyrics are too.....

It cracks me up the power that the show has. I also looked at Bo Bice's sales and his album is doing twice as well on Amazon today as it was yesterday and all AI did was show Bo for two seconds standing in the audience during the male performance show.
I wonder if we'll see an appearance by the Lovehammers on the new Rock Star? Not AI exposure, but still...

How do we email the contestants?
When are they having the next AI auditions? Are there any really devoted Hammerheads out there who would be willing to go sing a Lh song while wearing a Lh t-shirt? You'd have to either sing really bad or really well to get on the show. ;~)
I hope they do have Lh on Rockstar. There are lots of Rockstar fans who liked Marty and still don't know that he has an album out with Lh! I wonder if we can send e-mails to Mark Burnette and ask him to have Marty & Lh on season 2, like as a special guest.

I've got to say that Chris doing "Hemorrhage"by Fuel rocked!! At first I loved Katherine and Kelly but I swear Chris could just take it. The hair raised on my arm when he sang and that means something when I watch AI. I bet his wife and kids are proud! ~o~ Angel ~o

I don't know CaseysAngel... I think you NC peeps are in close running with us Alabamains. NC= Clay, Fantasia and now Chris (am I forgetting anyone?) AL= Ruben, Bo and now Taylor
Chris and Taylor are my favorites (taylor actually graduated from Auburn University and supposedly still lives there. I live just outside of Auburn. Talor also performs at clubs in town fairly regularly
Ceejee, they wont do auditions agin till they are doing it for next years show. I would be willing to make a fool out of myself for the cause. But then after I butcher a LH song, Marty himself may feel the urge to come kill me.

Let me think, besides Chris, Kellie is from Albemarle, NC, Bucky is from Rockingham, Heather was from Jonesville, NC....that's pretty good for the finalists! I also like Taylor, he is a total character with a lot of style. ~o~ Angel ~o~

I thought I read somewhere that there was talk of Marty making an appearance on the new RockStar this summer.
I hope it's true and more than just a cameo in the audience.

Just a funny side note - Bucky looks just like my dad and his brother looked in the 70's - it's weird

I agree that NC and AL people seem to be standouts. I also agree I think Chris and Taylor are the 2 male standouts this season. Having someone do a LH song in a LH t-shirt is a great idea. I nominate Rockbeast or Jodie. Marty had RB sing into the mic at CBGB's, so he has experience, and well Jodie (love Jodie) well let me just say it, the girls got guts, she is the fangirl hero ya know and I know RB is a true fanguy. Either, I am confident would do us proud. Of course if they decline, Vicki has volunteered. And about emailing current contestants if anyone finds out how I think it is a great idea!!! ;D sorry so long Sharon

Of course if they decline, Vicki has volunteered. Nobody wants that to happen... really! But hey, I would do it for the greater good of LH And about emailing current contestants if anyone finds out how I think it is a great idea!!! ;D If I can find out how, I will deffinantly do it. Chris has a great voice to do a LH song. BUT, LH would have to agree with it and give permission to AI before anyone could sing one of thier songs (I have checked into this LOL)

It would be great publicity. Who do you all think should sing which song?
