ME!! Mostly because of Chris. But I also like Bucky. There are many good ones this season. Ellitot, Taylor. Katherine is probably my choice to win for the girls. Chris for the guys. He rocks!! Anyone checked out his band "Absent Element"? I'm waiting for the CD I ordered from their website. And OMG he did such a great job with "Walk The Line" tonite! Chris ROCKS!!  |

it's just about to start here in HK so I'll let ya know if i agree with your assessment of today's show.
I will say that so far, I think the girls suck and that Chris and Taylor are worth listening to..... but not sure I'd buy records from any of them.

internet stalking?  who does that? Not me!  Ok, so my favorite guys are Taylor (even thought I did not enjoy his song chioce last night) and Chris. Favorite girls are Mandisa and Kathryn. Taylor graduated from the University here. I have heard roumors that he still lives here even though AI says he is from Birmingham. But I do know that he plays at local bars here often... well, not since the show started but you know what I mean. |

Okay, well I guess I just might as well say same for me! Chris is my favorite, then Taylor. Taylor is just so fun to watch, Chris is just wonderful, he rocks! Umm, for the girls, I haven't really paid attention, But I saw Katherine and she is really good. But Im going for Chris!

Mandisa is also very good. I forgot to mention her. Her voice is amazing. I liked Ace in the beginning more. Chris though has had the most consistently outstanding performances. I'd like to hear Bucky sing some Bob Seger. Maybe they'll have a 70's night. "Turn The Page" would be a good song for Bucky or Chris too for that matter like the way Metallica did it. I'll refrain from posting here after the results show tonite as to not spoil it for any readers in Asia or outside U.S. till they've had a chance to see it. I forgot about that. But unfortunately, little Lisa will probably go tonite. Viewers will probably give Kevin another week.....

I like Chris, Taylor, Mandisa, and Paris - though her performances haven't been as good as her auditions. After watching Rockstar, AI seems very plastic - it seems that most of the singers aren't in tune with what they're singing emotionally, they are just spitting out notes, and the band isn't nearly as good as the RS house band...but I am a sucker for these talent competition type shows, so I will keep watching! ;D

Yeah, I agree. We definately have been spoiled by Rockstar and the House Band. American Idol pales in comparison. I tuned in this season out of mild curiosity, then stayed for a small handful of good contestants. It will hold me over until the new Rockstar season. The fact that Chris is only 26 and a happily married man with 2 kids should stop me from hours of ridiculous stalking on the internet like we all do for Marty. NOT!! ::)Like it would even make a difference! Ha-ha!! |

I think people have voted for him because he's the under dog. He can sing, but needs much more seasoning. Tonite he'll go, or it might be Lisa.

As much as I HOPE Kevin goes tonight I'm afraid he might be around another week or two - but I'm often wrong and HOPE this is one of those times! While I could go into the marketability (is that a word?) of most of the contestants, don't worry, I won't. For me, Chris and Mandisa just blow everyone else away! I think it's going to come down to them and I'd be happy either way. Some of the others are also very talented - Elliott, Katherine, Paris - but for my money, it's Chris and Mandisa. I just love how well the South is represented. I may not live there anymore but you can't take the Southern out of this girl! |

Mandesa blew us away - she was very good.
