I noticed it too about Paula the other night. But at least it was not as bad as the night when she said "Simon said the reason they are there is because one ate salad and the other ate pizza". What the hell was that about anyway?

Vicodin, Zanax & Vodka is the cocktail I think she's drinking in the Coke cup of hers.

I thought she was gonna roll out of her chair Tuesday. Maybe they should start strapping her into it.

Doesn't Paula have a serious problem though? Some sort of disease that causes her to be in constant pain? I thought I read that somewhere.....but yes, you can readily see that she is high...in the sky.... .

LOVE Chris, Taylor and Bucky....I don't think Bucky will be around much longer though. Katheryn is my pick for the girls.

And I agree...I couldn't understand why Kevin made it to the top twelve.

I gotta say though, I liked his attitude. He did have a lot of moxy and confidence in himself. He'll be a great character once he grows into himself.

I think Chris is absolutely fabulous and thinking about AI today made me go back to some of Marty's videos from RS. I wanted to see how the two of them would have compared. I think Chris is great with everything he has done so far and will go far, but damm that Marty. He just hypnotizes you and is incredible to watch. Check out Arms Wide Open again and Lithium. In Lithium he hardly even moves around the stage but his intensity is so exciting. I can't believe after all this time I can go back and still feel that way. Even though I've seen those videos so many times, I still felt like "Oh my gawd what will he do next?!!!"

Very true...and I give him "props" for the way he always stood up to Simon... great kid.

i seen a documentary about paula and they said she was in few car accidents and she was in chronic pain so she was addicted to pain meds but she was sober now.she has had a problem with her wieght, her love life sucks too.my husband was in love with her in the 80's and 90's we named our daughter after her.the show i seen of her was E hollywood story if you can catch it.

I totally agree! My picks are Chris, Taylor and Katharine. I do think Chris will win out in the end but Taylor is going to be some competition because he has the X factor. He has it. Chris, on the other hand IS "it"!

As far as Paula, I also think she's been completely wrecked on the shows, and this week she was discussing something about Bucky's teeth to Randy quite obviously, and even though I did notice Bucky wasn't really smiling and there was something going on, it was so obvious how Paula wasn't in control of herself. When the camera catches you acting like a fool, it's time to do something. She needs to get a handle and I hope she does. She's a sweetie and can do so much better. Don't you guys think so?

Anyone else feeling a bit disappointed after last nights performances? With all of the songs they had to choose from, I think the contestants song choices pretty much sucked. I'd listen to Chris any day of the week, but he should not have picked Creed. At least not that song. Didn't showcase his voice and versatility enough. Even Arms Wide Open would have been better than "What If". And Simons comments to Chris were a bit contradictory as well. Last week he praised Chris for refusing to compromise and this time he pretty much said the opposite. I do agree though that Creed would not be caught dead on an American Idol stage. Chris chose to compete in AI, and so far he's done a fabulous sneak attack on the stodgiest of sleepy viewers, bringing that much needed hard edge to an otherwise usually dull season. But he needs to be careful in song choices in order to win over and continure to win over those that criticize him for not branching out of his zone enough. Chris can sing anything. He's proven that. But like I said, he needs to be careful as to not be too stereotyped. I hope next weeks theme is great and Chris will satisfy everyone. On another note, I REALLY enjoyed Bucky last night. Other than Chris and Bucky, the performances left me disappointed.

I was pretty disappointed with the preformances too. In my opinion almost everyone could have done better. I agree that Bucky did good last night he sounds better singing country than anything else.

Yep, I was disappointed in Idol this week. But I've been bored with it this season.... I said in another post somewhere: I think Marty ruined me. I just don't get impressed with anyone anymore.

In past Idol seasons, I've had a favorite and I vote for them. This year.... I just watch and don't really care.

Oh well - maybe RS2 will be more exciting.

hammerfanatic, it's funny you should say that about Paula. I mentioned to my co-watchers that hse seemd really drugged out or something. not just ditzy but out of it. i think watching her is more amusing than any of the performers.

Next weeks theme is country. Not really looking forward to that because country is not my thing... but many of the contestents should do well at it. Paris has already done country, we know Bucky and Kelly ARE country. I really think that Taylor, Chris and Kathryn can do it... the only ones I really worry about are Elliot, Ace and Mandisa
