I'm watching American Idol right now.. So far I liked Katharine but the judges hated it. I thought she did really well and she had alot of guts to sing a Whitney Houston song! I havent seen Chris yet... I cant wait.. Hes so good!

I think all of them did well, except for Kelly, who seems to be faltering a little bit. I did vote for Chris 4 times. He doesn't deserve to be in the bottom three again.

I've been watching it the past few weeks and am sorely disappointed after being spoiled last summer with RS. The producers of AI need to get off the dime and pay royalties for the contestants to sing decent songs. What they've sung the past 3 weeks is nothing new - it's indicative of the entire series. It sucks!!! Let these contestants sing relevant songs! AI has a big YAWN from me. I like Chris.....I just wish they'd let him sing good music with a real band, not some cheesed up orchestra.

I thought Katharine did really well last night and the judges were too hard on her. I think she is the best singer on there and deserves to win. Even though Elliot is very talented I think everyone, judges include are over inflating his talent. He is good, a wonderful guy, but his voice just does not appeal to me. Chris is my favorite male, Kat my favorite female. I'll have to back and watch Chris again from last night, but I thought he could have done a little better. Or maybe I just couldn't constsructively listen to anyone sing "Have You Ever Loved A Woman" besides my boy Bryan Adams!!

Chris was awesome - he definitely got my vote for best performance last night!
Taylor (my fav) was disappointing
Kelly was terrible - I think she's going home tonight

So, who went home tonight? I've been working at the computer and haven't been near a TV!

The blonde went home - Kelly Pickler was voted off. Kathryn and Chris got the most votes, Paris and Kelly got the least votes.

I think it's really cool that Chris and Kat got the most votes. They ARE the best singers. Next week the Final 5 will be performing two songs each – one from the year they were born and any song from this week’s Top 10 Billboard Charts. Hope it is ANY of the charts they can choose from. The Mainstream Rock Billboard top 10 has the most awesome songs in it right now! Chris could do any one of them! And what song from 1980 could Chris sing? (the year he was born). And probably Paris will go next.......

I'm excited that they'll be able to sing songs that aren't ballads. As nice as they are, they're BORING! Can't wait for next week to see them singing something upbeat!

OMG!! I loved the Babys!! "Back on My Feet" is an awesome song for Chris! And one of my favorites too. But I also LOVE Bob Seger. Another Brick in the Wall would be awesome too!! Sailing is a beautiful song if Chris wants to bless us with a ballad again. OMG! I LOVE Neil Diamond too!! Was hoping for a Def Leppard in there. Maybe he could do Blondie's Call Me with a darker more rocking version like Hit Me Baby One More Time! Can't WAIT for TUESDAY!!

OMG! I was thinking he should do a cover of Call Me! That's the first thing I thought of! It would be so different and cool to take a song that is thought of as a "woman's song". I can't wait to see what he does. If Marty can make a homerun out of a Britney song, Chris ought to be able to really do a great job with these songs.

I thought Chris did really well despite the negative comments given to him. Elliott and Taylor did well also. It's a toss-up as who will be the final two .

I was worrying about Chris' voice last night. He's my pick but I think he's straining it. I thought Catherine was really good on her second song but I wanted her to get off of her knees.

I liked Chris' first song better than the second. Shinedown rules that song. No comparison. But Chris still was the best last night by far. I still like Katharine and Taylor. I think Paris and Elliot should go next.

I agree about Paris and Elliot needing to go next. Randy Jackson was on Ellen (last week?) and she said that although Elliot's voice is good, he doesn't have the necessary stage presence (that Marty and MiG have-ok, I just added that part) and Randy implied that he agreed. And then Ellen asked about what's in Paula's Coke glass. heehee

Yeah, I think Elliot will go next. Chris was definitely my favorite. But I also love Taylor because of his personality and his love for music. VH1 is saying that Katharine was the best of the night and that Chris needs to change it up and stop doing the same thing. <insert eye rolling here> They are predicting Katharine and Taylor to be the final two. Do you all think that a rocker can win American Idol? And if it's possible, is it to their benefit? I know the AI contracts are tough and controlling. How much could a rocker really rock as the American Idol?

I hope Chris doesn't win. Before now no one had heard of his band. At least I hadn't. Now everyone knows. He needs to stick around for at least a couple more weeks, then return to his band and get a new album out. After the A.I. tour of course. I would hate to see what would happen to Chris if he won. Almost as bad as if Marty had won Rockstar:INXS. Chris is already more well known than any of the contestants on Rockstar were. It's sad that Rockstar didn't get the volumes of viewers like A.I. does. Who knows what a difference it could have made for Marty and the Lovehammers if as many people were watching Rockstar as Idol! I hope next Rockstar season gets alot more attention. Probably will since it's Tommy Lee. And I hope the Lovehammers come back to perform one night!
