I have only watched AI off and on, but did last night. This morning someone called in on the radio and said that Taylor, in his excitement, had said the F word after signing "Something." He said he had it TIVO'd and that Seacrest gave him a funny look. Did anyone see that?
I know that Chris is the favorite and he's really good, but I like Taylor. Maybe it's goofiness. Also, I didn't realize he was only 29. That gray hair is deceiving. He's got a great vocie and reminds me of a young Michael McDonald. Dino likes him. In his last blog he said, "GO TAYLOR!!!!!!" LOL!

I loved Taylors preformances last night! I also thought that Chris's first song was much better than his last.

I hope Chris doesn't win. Before now no one had heard of his band. At least I hadn't. Now everyone knows. He needs to stick around for at least a couple more weeks, then return to his band and get a new album out. After the A.I. tour of course. I would hate to see what would happen to Chris if he won. Almost as bad as if Marty had won Rockstar:INXS. Chris is already more well known than any of the contestants on Rockstar were. It's sad that Rockstar didn't get the volumes of viewers like A.I. does. Who knows what a difference it could have made for Marty and the Lovehammers if as many people were watching Rockstar as Idol! I hope next Rockstar season gets alot more attention. Probably will since it's Tommy Lee. And I hope the Lovehammers come back to perform one night! This is what I hate about AI. This is from a Chris Daughtry blog. ON REJOINING HIS BAND: "If it was up to me -- yes. But when it comes to doing contracts and being under a label, you know, it's not always up to the artist. I'd love to work with those guys, but if not, they understand that it's beyond my control." They're probably going to make him be a solo act and sing songs that people like Bon Jovi have written on the side. It's probably going to end up sounding like a totally manufactured album similar to what Bo Bice put out. The problem is that the pop music producers just don't know what to do with someone that doesn't sing pop music. |

if anybody seen ai last night elvis night rocked taylor and chris were both awesome i think its going to be between those 2 for final 2. I totally agree. Elliott did really well last night, but I still think Chris and Taylor should be the final two. I think Katharine should go home tonight. We'll see in a little bit. eta: Elvis night was cool. I'm a big Elvis fan, and Taylor sang one of my favorite Elvis songs, "In the Ghetto". He did a great job with it. |

I really dont understand how Chris went before Elliot or Catherine....she was horrible last night.....he was in the top two last week.....how did he end up at the bottom this week? I bet the AI people want another Kelly Clarkson clone. She's the only one who's really made money for them. Clay has, but not nearly as much as she has. If that's what AI wants, then Kat would be the clone. Such a disappointment.
