You get to have all the fun chk! They didn't air those here (competing stations). OMG the ads are SO cool. Very graphic and words like "tattoos. leather pants. body piercings. Rock Star." I loved it! Did they show any hot guys? uh...I'm getting off topic, aren't I?

I'm glad Taylor won! Katherine will be fine, she already has offers and she's 21...............Taylor is so entertaining, Katherine has a beautiful voice, Chris should have won!

you know the thing that really irked me the most was the way they tried to say more people voted on Idol than voted for a presidential candidate ever. Well, duh. How many times does a viewer vote on Idol compared to how many times they can vote in a presidential election? Yet if you look at the voters totals for the 2004 presidential election, compared to AI finale, www.zabasearch.com/ai_stats.php there were WAY more votes cast in the 2004 election....but because it was such a close election, the total of the winners votes was slightly less than all the votes cast on the finale of AI . To me this really distorts reality considerably. I know in my case the total of votes cast in the Presidential election (1) was 100% more than the votes I cast all season on AI (0).

Cindy, I said exactly the same thing to my daughter! As we all know, unless you're from Chicago, you can only vote once in an election!
GE -- all of the ads were red-white-black illustrations/graphics and very simple. One said something like Guns N Roses, Motley Crew, Metallica. Rock Star -- with cool pix of Supernova dudes. another was New band, New Singer, New Season, Rock Star. They didn't show clips from previous season or anything, but it was really fun and eye-catching. I just loved the tattoos-leather pants-body piercing one. Made me laugh.

I wondered about that comment myself, but didn't do the research. Thanks! p.s. total of votes I cast in the Presidential election was 100% more than the votes I cast in AI too! Do you suppose that distorted their figures?!

I agree chk! I was weirded out during the Live performances. Then they were doing all the same moves and it was freaking me out. I really liked U2's "one" with Mary Blige and Taylor. Meatloaf freaked me out too. He was very shaky. Overall, I enjoyed it. ;D That was Elliott that did the duet with Mary J. Blige. Though I enjoyed it, I don't think that it was necessarily a great idea to sing with Ed Kowalczyk from Live. IMO, he came off looking like a big copycat.

Gotta say that ABSOLUTE BEST PART was all the commercials for RS:Supernova!!!!!!! Hurray! I'm so jealous. I want to see RS:Supernova commercials. Check out Rockstargohome for the bio's of all the competitors - lots of experience. It's going to be a great season.
