So many of us have been talking about SG1 in pms and Jet sent me a great link. I'm sure this will be a slow moving thread, but it gives us a place to share our thoughts. I am a big sci-fi fan. Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica (old and new), Stargate, Babylon 5, Firefly/Serenity, Farscape, Dr. Who, etc. I particularly like shows that have strong female characters, like BSG....Six, Boomer, Starbuck, and Laura. I also like Elizabeth Bear's trilogy (Hammered, Scardown, and Worldwire). I had made this for the Fanguys, but never posted it.  |

BTW-My initials are ADR.. I once used My initials backwards in a password with SG1 so by password was RDASG1 and then a bunch of numbers. I'm such a dork.

I'm thinking it's the one where she's stranded on the ship by herself. She hits her head and she starts talking to all her friends. Her dad tells her she needs to let Jack go..

I have to admit I'm not the SG-1 fan, my sister is. I'm on her laptop at the moment and she has as many pics and SG-1 related stuff as I have of Marty!  This really is RDA's body...from his Macguyver days...I've never seen a better looking grey haired man! |

Hey Sci fi fans, Now see that isn't fair, us Aussies haven't seen Lexa Doig yet, unless you have cheated and gone on line to a website or read ahead in a magazine or something. Has she replaced our beloved Doc Fraiser, miss Janet, she was so cool as the Doc. Now that pic was from none of the episodes guessed, it was from Metamorphosis, don't ya just love to hate Niirti!!! That is also another of my fave episodes. I think season 5 and 6 were my faves, I really liked Jonas and didn't mind so much not having Daniel around, he can be annoying at times! Roll on SG-1 season 9 and Atlantis season 2, haven't watched Andromeda or Battlestar Galactica, just not enough time in the day to do all I want. My fave passed sci fi show is by a long shot The X-Files. Still LOVE that show and watch the DVD's whenever I get a chance, when in LA last year went and visited the set, got to sit at Mulders desk, that was pretty cool, I stared up at all the pencils stuck in the ceiling!! GO Scully, she was my fave of the two. Cheers. Helen. |

Metamorphisis.. I'd forgotten that one.. I'm not spilling on the secrets of the Dr. You'll just have to wait. I liked the X-Files too. How cool that you got to visit the set. I liked Jonas as well. Daniel could get really annoying at times. I think they've improved his character since he came back.
Ok, so we are all bad at SG1 episode identification. So here's a new topic.
Favorite Bad Guy...
Mine is Baal.. He's mean. He's sneaky. He's quite attractive..I'll add a picture later today.
Atlantis: I can't say.. Season 2 is soooo exciting.

Hey DG, Just love to hate Bad Boy Baal, but doesn't he sorta help out in season 8 or is that coming up in season 9? I hated Niirti, she was horrid, glad to see the end of her in Metamorphosis. Fave bad guys in other sci fi shows. X-Files Cigarette Smoking Man / Deputy Director Alvin Kersch (hard to pick) Babylon 5 The Shadows Can't think of any others at the moment, past my bedtime.
