OK, here's a possibly useful utility if at any point we feel the need to do an audio real-time conference. It is called Skype; do a search on it on the web. I think the URL was just www.skype.com. I have signed up for it and will be testing it out. Don't know just how good the audio quality of it is at this point. One of the main attractions to this is that it allows for conferencing and for our project that could be useful indeed. HH And, it looks like I have skype set up correctly. Audio quality appears to be variable but I suspect depends greatly on what computer and audio card you're using AND what microphone and headphones likewise. Note, that those of you who do NOT have any outboard audio gear (like for example, I hooked up my Tascam 4-track recorder as mixing board and have a mic jacked into it.......plus taking headphones out from my Creative Sound Labs 5.1 speaker system) can get a USB plug-n-play headset that has a boom mic on a set of headphones for in the $50 and under range. So check out www.skype.com and if anyone gets this set up, PM me so we can arrange a test chat........and if we get multiples, I think up to 9, we can try out a conference. HH

On our website we use a program called Teamspeak. Set up is easy and all you need are speakers to hear and a mic to talk (headset with mic is preferable due to distortion from external speakers.
Not so much me anymore but those that play the game are required to use Teamspeak for communication purposes during on-line matches.
We have someone hosting and the rest of us log into that IP address and chat away.......it's a hoot.........and free.......and satisfying when we get people from Canada, New Zealand, Uk, Russia, Florida, Texas, Paris, Holland, Buenos Ares, L.A., New Jersey, New York City, Philly, among others all on the line at the same time..........what a blast!!!
I hope you are successful with it.........

The anti-bunny comment is based on Dino's blogs. He always calls the fans bunnies. I do not recall where I read it, but there were a few fans that were not thrilled with the term. I think that some reference to the dress and lipstick would be perfect. Cheza - want to take a shot at a few lines. it would probably be better understood than the reference to the bunnies. I knew that. I never had heard that some of the fans weren't thrilled with that. Personally, I find it a bit endearing. Oh well, that's just me. Boston, I'd love to take a shot at a few lines. Maybe I can over the weekend. I've been thinking, I just haven't had much time to post around because I'm taking an online course, teaching a full load, and serving as Webmistress for our Relay for Life Website...and I just ended up being christened as a RFL team captain - somewhat against my will...but it will work out. As soon as I can come up for air, I'll try to fire off some lines. Peace.

Trees came across this poem I wrote in 2005 about Marty. I never really thought of it as song lyrics until she made the suggestion, so here it is
Overload
You fill my head As dusk runs to dark All is quiet and still Except inside my mind Your voice rages Drowning me in its depths Eyes not closed Your face comes to life In my secret place Your warmth surrounds me I didn’t start the fire I wanted to see your eyes ~~~~~ I tried to let you go You’re grip is too strong Holds me like a vice I live my life You’re always in my head I can hear your smile I breathe your light Beautiful Singing I crave the fire I crave your eyes ~~~~~ You don’t know me I know you well Through your words Your smile In my secret place Your warmth envelops me I can’t put out the fire I’ve seen your eyes ~~~~~ Sunshine breaks day You drift away Your smile Your voice Lay low ‘Till dusk falls again To light the flame In my secret place Of the fire In your eyes

Very nice Jet! I think that the poem really does work as lyrics.
