Yes, Scott, focus on those encouraging words & believe in them. It will get better my friend, we just gotta hang in there.

aw thanks gals! I am trying to focus on that. the lhs music helps me. in this time of turmoil for me, I would rather listen to LH- Hold on, than LAG- One More Reason...lol

I lost my job too, once the economy started to slump, but instead of going about it properly, my bosses screwed me over and made it impossible to stay. It sucks and it's hard....but I've also had some pretty awesome stuff happen that I never would have been able to do otherwise. And I sure as hell wouldn't be off to see Marty in 8 days!

Something will turn up, rockbeast, have faith, and when it feels a little rough, you know just the music to listen to

I am happy for you going to see Marty's solo show Kelly!!! That will be so much fun...

Now I know that the economy sucks really bad right now... but both of you just keep the faith. Things have got to get better... it is just a matter of waiting.

Kelly- I hear that. I first lost my job of 7 1/2 years last March because they went bankrupt due to the economy slump. Then I got a job from hell for 4 weeks and they let me go because I was not a good fit (this is what they claimed) and then I temped for 6 months and my assignment ended on December 12th. I try every day to find work but NO DICE. Thank god for unemployment. It's better than nothing!! I did apply for that job in Queensland, Aus. for a pool boy or something. LOL I just want to go visit my relatives in Melbourne and Adalaide

Yeah, the job market is just terrible. It took me just one day to get my last job, and I left in *Semtember* I've been to countless interviews, and employers are so damn rude - everytime they've said how many applications they've had (usually hundreds, in a town of 50k people) and that just to get an interview is great, but not one person has ever called again after my interview just to say they hired somebody else. Full time jobs just don't exist ; employers will turn one full time job into two part time and one casual jobs, to cover their own butts.

I turned down one job, and it was so, so hard to say no. But it was night shift, at a call center for a security company, so basically locked in a concrete box not allowed to leave for 8 hours in the middle of the night answering the phone three times an hour.

I heard back from one application today that looks promising though, so fingers crossed! It's not as good as pool boy-ing, but still Something will turn up for you too rockbeast, I'm sure of it. And enjoy your time off while you have it

The NZ ones are just great. Of course all photos of Marty/LH are cool, but some people just capture that essence with their photos, and Julia totally did that with these. Awesome awesome awesome.
