My dearest wife,
It's day 87 of the tour. We are somewhere I've never even heard of, in the choicest no-tell motel by the interstate.
The lunatics have finally broken my will. As I lie here motionless on the bed in a feeble attempt to hide, I know that any moment, Dino will leap onto Bobby to start their latest bout of 2-fisted sibling rivalry. No doubt Marty will once again start walking around on the furniture, having totally misunderstood the meaning of the phrase "get high". Then they will start the teasing, the drawing on my head with markers, the maniacal laughter, the belching, the farting.....
My only hope is the small handheld Tazer that I bought today, but sadly, I seemed to have misplaced it. I no longer have the will to even rise from the bed to look for it. Perhaps they will return me to you one day, a mere broken shell of my former self.
Until then, I send you and the boys all my love. Please have a room waiting at the sanitorium for me upon my return.
