By request of Chk, here are sections of my Billy Experience in Memphis I told in the Asylum....
Ready for my lunatic moment?
We all know I'm a Marty girl (although Bobby was mighty fine looking as always!).
So Billy was the last one to come out and visit. He was quiet and shy as always and couldn't have been sweeter to the little kids that were wanting to get pics and autographs. I'm just hanging back waiting, not all nervous or anything. Just waiting so the kids could all get their turns.
After the kids were done, there were just a few of us adults standing there all waiting. I see an opportunity to make my move in to get my first pic w/ Billy ever and suddenly I just flip out and go into over the top fangirl. I totally shocked my SIL and not to mention Billy. Total deer in the headlights look from him. I think I screamed something like "BILLY.....WANT.....PICTURE WITH YOU!" I doubt it even made that much sense looking back. He looked suprised, scared, startled and was probably eyeing the place for some security.
Of course, just as I screamed it at him (he's like a foot away from, really wasn't necessary to yell and make the man deaf!) someone else walked up to get an autograph and pic. So now I feel like a complete idiot, one for yelling when he's right there and two someone else just casually walks up and says Can I get a picture with you? like a normal person should. Can we say Psycho Stalker?! Anyway, while he's posing for the pic, I guess I had a look of disappointment on my face and he looks over and smiles and says, "Hey, I'm taking one with you next! Okay!". Thank god he indulged me! He started laughing at me, too. *smacks head and turns 5 shades of red*
Isa, I blame you and GE b/c of the whole Billy stalking moment! I think the stalking night infected my brain and I was thinking "the Eagle has landed! the Eagle has landed!". Of course, after humiliating myself I was thinking "ABORT! ABORT!"
I keep trying to tell myself he just enjoyed the enthusiasm and squeeeing, but it's not working!
(this is regarding what happened when Marty was being a monkey and climbing the scaffolding)
I was holding my breath! And his foot kept slipping and seemed like he was having a hard time climbing. I kept saying "okay, that's high enough, no, stop, enough!" And since he wasn't situated right and it was time to sing, guess who jumped in for him......that's right BILLY!!!!!!!!! He had to do that at the KC show when Marty took off running out of the theater.
All right, there was my Billy Experience for you all to enjoy, laugh, mock, etc. ;D

LOL nlt - no one would dare mock you - that is a real LH encounter. There has to be an element of either stalking or some degree of dorkdom involved :. Or both. Deer in the headlights - perfect description.  |
