Why can't I get them to load? All I get when I go to any of the photo pages is a black screen and it says to click on thumbnails to view the entire photo. I have no thumbnails.

Hey, Vicki. That should not be happening. Could you PM me the type of browser (internet explorer, etc) that you are using and the type of computer? This will help me to troubleshoot this for you. Thanks so much. Katherine

That's a great read, Yerba --thanks for letting us know. As soon as he started talking about the bulldozers and sand, I knew he was heading toward how this was affecting turtles! When will people learn to stop messing with Mother Nature? She will get her own back someday. But that's beside the point -- glad Billy has had fun in Florida and I hope to hear more about the "stuff" he's been "sorting out" soon -- so long as it's good news!

From Billy at his website!!!......
Hey everybody!!! Just wanted to chime in and say hello/thanks for coming to my site...Ya'll reallly inspire me "Ya'll"? I have been in Florida too long, huh? It has been a great trip....1st week was spent with Dan fishing, sleeping and eating....It was really nice to get away from everything and yes, even the family. I have been at home alot and that can get trying on a marriage....I dropped Dan off at the Tampa airport and picked up my Parents, the wife and kids for yet another week on Beautiful Siesta Key. It was quite a change from the peace and quite the week before. We have a 2 bedroom/2 bath condo and it is pretty "lively" with the P's and the kids. I dont know wh, but the kids really act crazy when my parents are around so thats a bit grating. Any behavioral specialists out there who know why? Anyways, my brother also joined the party for the last few days and now he and I will drive home today while the pthers fly home. I am actually looking forward to the drive. Its been a good time here and I sorted a lot of things out in my head. This is random but yesterday Toni and I went Kyakking(spelling?) on the intercoastal. Thats the waterway b/t the island and land...I have been coming here ten years and never have done anything remotely close to that. It was alot of fun. You paddle around a wildlife refuge. Mangroves, fish, tons of birds, conch, etc. What I liked the most was being able to just jump out and walk around the various sandbars throughout the intercoastal. We stopped off at an area known as Midnight Pass where the intercoastal used to run into the Gulf. It was closed off after a hurricane clogged it up with some sand. Much to the dismay of the island residents, bulldozers finshed the job and completely closed off the pass b/c local politicians and wealthy folk had homes right at the pass and closing meant no more boat traffic to and from the ocean. Incidentally, Stephen King is one of the home owners that benefitted from the closing. The reason I am carrying on about this is b/c the intercoastal used to be crystal clear with a ton of dolphin, sea turtles, large fish and yes sharks. Now the water is murkey and the sand stinks if stirred up b/c it can no longer cleanse itself with every tide. The community has been lobbying since 1985 to reopen the pass with no success. Anyways, hope that did not bore everyone to sleep but its a big deal down here....I went to see Borat with Dan. It was pretty funny. I thought it was going to suck. One thing though, I am so confused how the movie could be so highly acclaimed when there is so much race bashing and stereotyping. I will never understand where the line is drawn. But, it was a pretty funny movie although there were only 10 people in the theatre. That makes it a little harder to watch a comedy b/c you are so self conscous about laughing too hard cuz everyone knows who doing the laughing. You get the point. My son Eben, brother Bryan and I all went to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch the Bears today. Quite a boring game, but they won!!! BTW, if anyone has a SOLID line on Bears tix, let me know as my son asks me no less than 25 times a week if I got tickets. Scalpers are too much$$$ So if anyone has a hook up, give me a shout. Lastly, if you are ever down here, Red Lobster is actually one of the best meals around. Honestly!!! Any other one I have eaten at sucks and I have sworn them off. But for some reason the one by Siesta Key is phenominal. My dad even likes it and he is the pickiest diner I know...He eats out at least 7 times a week(lunch and or dinner). Alright, thats it for nw and if you are still here, thanks for reading about my "adventures"!!! See you all soon

Hey Nancy. Thanks for posting that. It would be great if you want to respond to him directly on his guestbook. Anyone can just hit the link below and leave him a reply or hi there. It would be easier for him probably to have all the responses over there where he can read them all at once. pub35.bravenet.com/guestbook/2955373973

Hi everyone.
Very cool that lots of people are replying to Billy's entry.
Just now, somehow 4 posts were lost from Billy's guestbook . I must have somehow inadervently done that. These 4 posts were entered before 3:30 CST today and after midnight last night. I was able to contact two of the four posters directly to tell them about this.
Please re enter your message for him & if yours is one of the ones that was lost please just hit me with an e-mail at my address below.
Thank you! I apologize for the technical error. Won't happen again.
Thanks, Katherine webmaster@billysawilchik.com

Glad to see so many people signing up for the email newsletter. Once you register, you have to confirm via a confirmation email. Then, you get a welcome email to let you know you are on the list.
FYI, there will be prizes (at least for 3 months starting later during the month of December) awarded at random to people on the mailing list just for fun such as signed guitar picks, signed photos, etc. More details to come. So, sign up today!
