Here is my Dino story... I played him my cell ringtone which is a snippet of Starlight Lady...I asked, "Do you recognize it?" And Dino says, "Is it some 80s band?" Classic! LMAO!!!!

I never knew I would love Dino so much...but this boy is my type of people.
I saw him for a second by himself at HR Hotel after the show in Vegas and I went up to him and said "so you are a bit of an enigma on stage aren't you" and he just stared in my eyes forever then said very sarcastically.."I don't even know what that means" and as I was telling him it meant he was a riddle, curious, that I couldn't figure out what he was thinking on stage (he always has this smirky look when he is playing and it is intriguing but I'm always thinking.....what the f*#* is he thinking) so as I am saying this he interrupts me and pulls my hair and asks when I put this red streak in. He tells me he's had red in his hair too, then long pause. He's also had blue, then he asks if i've had blue (like it was a competition)...funny boy.
Throughout the entire night we are cutting our eyes at each other across the room (even as we are both talking to other people) like we know the other is up to something, (you know one of those looks you might see on a soap opera when someone has found out something juicy or scandlous about the other person.) Then later he asks me to give him rocker/smokey eyes so I do and later we are talking and for some reason we have our faces pressed together ...my nose is nestled in his left eye if you can immagine that..and we are talking to each other that way, but we are speaking very monatone almost like robots...then there is no talking we are just stuck there this way, then we laugh and I pull back and I think treebee says "you have something on your nose...it's Dino's eyeliner.
I just really dig this guy...he is so funny, perverted, sarcastic and very witty... I think this combinaton of humor is the BEST, you can almost get away with anything if you put just the right humorous tone on it. I am all these things too, I think that is why we really were able to mess with each other and have a great time (till 7:30am). There was a lot of laughing that night. Thanks Dino... I hope you can get some gravy soon (inside joke) ha ha ha.
DINO ROCKS!!!

Here's my Dino moment from Minneapolis--
He came in the front door- no one noticed except for me.
I congratulated him on the concert and he looked at me and said "Haven't I seen you before?..." I agreed that he had seen me in Charlotte the prior week and he grinned and said "You have that tattoo...".
I held his beer as he signed autographs and he peek over at me and asked "How come every time I look there's less beer in my glass?" I explained that I was a vodka girl. "I know I love you!" Dino said.
His sarcastic wit has to be one of the best things about him! That smirk tells a thousand tales.

Anyone who went to Las Vegas and didn't come back with a Dino story wasn't really there ;D I was sitting with Jodie and RDG and they left for a few minutes and asked me to make sure I saved their seats. Well, I'm sitting there for a few minutes when Dino and Marty come walking up and sit down next to me in their seats. Sorry girls, I'm not about to tell Dino and Marty that those seats are saved. I'm feeling a little awestruck but trying to act cool and Dino is just chatting away with me about any and everything. It was like hanging out with a old friend. A crazy friend, but an old friend just the same. When Kimberly87 did his eyes, I held the make up for her. Can I put it on my resume - Assistant to Lovehammers Make Up Artist??? When Center Bar closed down, we all moved to another bar and Dino was right along with us. Around 6am, I decide to call my sis and brag that I am still up and partying with LH. When Dino sees me on the phone, he asks to talk to her too. They chat, he asks her for some lucky numbers and he tells her goodbye and have a nice evening - Did I mention that in a casino, you really don't have a sense about night or day plus all the booze didn't Dino help either. We get a group pic with Dino (he's the last LH to give up and go in) and he gives all a real nice hug. I wasn't a big Dino fan before Hard Rock, but after that night I think he best describes a devoted band member. From answering hundreds of dumb pm's to hanging out with a bunch of crazy fans till 8 in the morning - he's the best! 4reeds (A converted Dino fan)

At the HRH bar after Chicago theater, I decide to finally walk up to Dino for a photo but I am just standing there like an idiot because he is talking to some little kids and I don't want to interrupt. This guy to my left says, "Hey Dino, you should talk to your fans." And I say "Yeah, I came all the way from Hong Kong for this." So the guy on my left says, "You did? Then I'll take the pictures!" It turns out it's Marty's brother Chris taking the pictures of me and Dino. (BTW They are the funniest/worst pics of the weekend because Dino looks scared to death of me!) Dino, in the meantime, says "Oh, aren't you the one who brought us a bottle of wine?" (I had given the band a bottle of Aussie chardonnay and other goodies in a care package from their Asian fans at the Virgin signing.) I say, "Yes, did you drink it yet?" And he says, "No, we're waiting to open it with you in Hong Kong" or something to that effect. I tell him he should open it and enjoy it, but in my most unladylike fashion I also say, "Dino, don't f#*k with me. Are you guys really coming to Hong Kong?" and he says, 'yeah, we're working on it, but it won't be with INXS." Okay so I got a big hug and kiss and think I may have squished him a little in my happiness. And then I went over to Bobby and made him confirm what Dino said cause it was all too good to be true. Felt like queen for a day -- after all, I was the one who go to give the Aussie/Asia fans a little hope!

Love ya RDG... I know girl...I will never disclose the "gravy" or several other moments with this "interesting" character. There were way too many to even count. That boy (and Marty) really made my night...For some reason I didn't spend much time with Billy or Bobby, I guess I was too busy laughing my ass off w/ "D" and "M" Yea...RDG...great, hilarious memories. and P.S...."I'LL NEVER TELL" hee hee hee.

Wow... these memories are all fantastic. Mine pales in comparison, but it made me REALLY happy for the rest of the day... so I'll share! I went to the Day in the Zone show in Northern California. Unfortunately, I didn't anticipate much of a traffic delay, left in "plenty of time", and missed 80% of the show (I only saw the last two songs). I was pretty bummed about that, but I got over it quickly when I noticed how close the LH RV was to the fence barricade at the event. I saw Bobby and Dino get in the RV right after their set, so I waited around for a while to see what would happen. A bunch of event staff said the band would be signing autographs at a table later, but I still waited for a bit. Not long after, the guys came out to sign autographs! I jumped to the front of the fence and got Billy to snag Dino for an autograph. I handed the card I had over the fence (which was pretty tall... I'm 5'6" and kind of had to reach to get it over), and he signed it, but as he handed it back, he smiled at me and held the card just out of my reach. I jumped up to get it, but he kept moving it. He was grinning and asked me, "How bad do you want it?" (or something to that effect). Finally, a taller guy grabbed it for me, and he let out a big, "AWWW..." Later at the autograph tables, I joked with him about it, and he said, "What? I have no idea what you're talking about... you must have me confused with HIM," and got this BIG grin on his face and pointed to Bobby. I said, "Yeah RIGHT," and just smiled at him and moved on in the line (it was getting long and I didn't want to take time away from other people). All in all, it was a good day... I just wish I could've seen the whole show!

Alyssa, welcome to the boards! This is a great place to get all the latest information on the Lovehammers, and make some great friends. Thanks for your report, it sounds great. Bummer about you missing part of the concert though. I'd be a basket case if that happened. But you made up for it in the long run sounds like huh?....The Lovehammers have several other events scheduled, check em out on the main page ok?....And get to more of them, it's worth it!....Later Nancy...

Thanks, Nancy! I've technically been a member since May... but I never had the balls to post until tonight. You guys are really saavy on your LH stuff... TEACH ME! hehehe. Your doing it. Just jump right in and post what you want to. I honestly can say that everyone here is open armed and will welcome you in any part of this board. Don't be shy, no one here bites but me, and I'll have to get to know ya before I do that!...hehe.....Visit the fangirl thread where we post in the most current asylum spot. Great group of friends meet there and just talk, either Lovehammer's related or other stuff, but everyone is nice. It goes a bit fast in there, but just jump in and try not to drown, and you'll be fine. Your doing a great job, and there's a whole host of great Moderator's floating around that can help you with the techie stuff. I don't know much about that either...just go with the flow...Later Nancy
