Hello, all!
Who's going to be Street Teaming for this show?
Who's contacting radio stations and chatting up DJ's?
Who's papering the town with flyers?
How are we going to fill the house for Lh?
What other ST ideas do you have for this show?
Let's hear it!

Since you posted your PM here, I'll post my reply. I strongly urge that everyone reads it and considers the effects of fans' actions could have on LH's career-- for positive and for negative. McGhee is MCLh's manager. They don't do promotion. They set up gigs. They've helped the band stay pretty busy in the past few months and for the next several months, despite the problems with Dino's hand. And, I think Marty, Dino, Bobby, and Billy can handle their business dealings without the help of fans. It would look really bad on them for fans to begin protesting or causing trouble with their management. Such action could, in fact, hurt Lh. People have started this before, and Dino asked everyone to please stop. According to Dino, McGhee is working hard to help Lh. MartyCasey.org arranged and paid for that photoshoot to have images to use for the site and on the site. MartyCasey.org is the official site of Marty Casey, so that's why there were just pics of Marty. When Dino, Bobby, and Billy have their own official sites, I'm sure they'll have mostly pics of them. :~) McGhee had nothing to do with it other than helping to arrange Marty's schedule so that he could do it. Kimberlee thanked them for simply being nice to her and being helpful. As for the Canal Room and how they advertise, McGhee has nothing to do with that either. Perhaps the Canal Room doesn't feel the need to advertise since, as Dino said recently, they're almost sold out. Really, the way the music business is now, lots of bands have to rely on street teaming. Until Lh tops the charts, or at least hits sales numbers in the 100,000's, the record company is not going to put that much out there. It's just business. They have to see a reason for the investment in Lh. Lh has to prove themselves. That's where street teaming comes in. We're investing in Lh because we already know they are worth it. If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me. I would love to hear your ideas for STing NY. How about some pro-active and possitive suggestions for STing NY: - What do you think about the ST putting an ad for Lh in the Village Voice? Can anyone find out prices on that? I would be willing to chip in on the costs.
- How about putting some flyers up in indie record stores in NY?
What ideas do you have?

Wendy --
If you have suggestions about McGhee and/or MCLh's publicist, you need to contact Dino. Telling these folks how to do their business wouldn't be very prudent or cool, and, as Ceeje stated, would end up making the band look bad. Dino has already asked fans to NOT contact their publicists or management.

I also have some flyers to had out on the street when I go there even if they are not going to the show a flyer will bring there attention to the band. and i will have arms full of bracelets if someone should need one. I am thinking of going to NJ show and nothing is being done by fans their that i can see. I will do the same stuff if I go to NJ show.!!!!!! We do what we can

I am removing my original post on this subject. I am well aware of the delicacy of the situation and am not interested in creating any problems for the band.
