ST EVENT 3/31/06 So California

HI Everyone
I've been looking around and I think an important show from us ST'ers to be at is The Strokes at Gibson Ampitheater (Universal City, Ca) on Friday 03/31/06. We will be spreading the word about the CD and if we are very very lucky Hammerheads some tour dates? (Please please please) ;D

For this one we'd want to meet up around 9pm and position ourselves for when the show lets out. We will need to cover the parking lot, the parking garage, and the area where they sell bootleg shirts . Since there is Citiwalk and all that it's probably best if we limit our ST supplies to postcards, 1/4 page flyers, small stickers, magnets etc. Things that are easy to carry. Please let me know if you're available for this.

I'm also considering Coachella which is in Indio, Calif the last weekend of April. It's a HUGE indie rock event (Madonna aside) and there will be lots of open space and tons of people. But because it's so huge we will need a pretty good group to cover it. So let me know if you're interested in that.

Count me in as well...of course. Hey ladies (polarfan, 4reeds) looks like we might be the official Los Angeles street teamers. ha ha ha. But that is good we'll get a system going. We'll be pros.

Also...would either of you be interested in going to street team at the "She Wants Revenge" show on thursday 3/9 it is in hollywood by my house. I know it might be difficult since it is on a thursday and ya'll are way out there, but I am thinking of going since I can just walk down there. Let me know. She Wants Revenge is an indie/alternative band....they are so awesome (just in case you didn't know them.) They go on at 9, so I assume we could get there about 10 until about 11. I think their crowd is the crowd we need as well. Anyway, just let me know. I completely understand if you can't, but I still think I will.

Yeah I saw that one and really wanted to go (to the show as well as ST!) but week days are hard for me cuz I have to up so early in the flippin' morning.

Awww, how things can change in one short week, silly me worrying about a week nite ;D

Anyway bumping this so So Cal people will remember we do have ST Event 3/31/06 at Gibson. It's not until 9pm traffic is light, kids are in bed (or bring em' with you), it will be fun...And since we don't have anything new at the moment it is CRUCIAL we keep LH name and CD in the spotlight. If you need any more info or can make it please let me know.

(yea...that was pretty funny..."I can't do "she wants revenge" cuz it is a thursday night". You sure were able to go to vegas on a thursday though......ha ha ha. I think it was worth it though getting to make the guys happy...at least on my part anyway...FABULOUS!!!

Hey, I have a question.....where did you get the 8x10 document that you had printed up when we were at Bon Jovi? is that somewhere where I can downloan it? I plan on hitting Melrose and sunset this weekend with regulat flyers and magnets but would love to post some of those 8x10s on the street.

(I would love the guys to drive by next week and see them)

Just bumping for So Calif fans, ST'ing this Friday at the Gibson we'll meet up at 9pm (hard rock cafe) pm me for more info or if you have any questions. I hope to have a few more people because it's a large area to cover...remember it is VITAL we keep LH's name out there especially now since there is not a whole lot of new info at the moment.

Unfortunately this ST event was called due to rain. We also had very little coverage for a large space.
I will be posting a few more events soon that we need to cover but please So Cal keep Coachella in mind. It's the last weekend of April. I"m thinking we could cover Saturday April 29th. It's in Indio and it is HUGE. Mark your calendars and more details to follow.
