Hi all y'all,

I'm 500 miles from Columbus, but the internet is my friend.

This was my first attempt at, I guess, Street Teaming, but here's what I did this morning:

I found listings online for the following paper and online "newspapers" and magazines:

The Other Paper, Columbus’s News & Entertainment Weekly
ColumbuScene
Columbus Wired online magazine
Suburban News Publications (like the Reynoldsburg Times – this group publishes 21 community newspapers covering most of Frankling County and parts of Fairfield and Delaware counties in Central OH)
(Columbus) JournalNews
Columbus Dispatch (already had Marty Casey & The Lovehammers listed)
The Lantern – OSU student paper
This Week community newspapers (already had Marty Casey & the Lovehammers listed)

For those who did not have OB on their schedule of events, I either sent emails or submitted "my" event to their calendar. I know this doesn't guarantee they'll get added, but who knows ...


I also found the following websites:
About – Columbus, OH, site managed by John Kazalia
Experience Columbus Columbus Convention & Visitors Bureau website – (already had Marty Casey & Lovehammers listed)

I sent an email to the About Columbus, OH, website talking up this band and the event date/details.


Finally, I found these two radio stations that looked most likely to play Lovehammers type music:
WLVQ – 96 fm – did not have OB on their calendar. I sent email to [e-mail] talking about them and the event.
WWCD – 101 fm – (already had Marty Casey & The Lovehammers listed)

Looking forward to my trek to see the Lovehammers!!!!!
