Once again, many thanks go out to Nader from Sony/BMG Canada for his kind offer. If anyone, anywhere in Canada knows of or hears of concerts in their area by "related" bands, such as Nickelback, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, etc. and would like to do some Street Teaming for Lovehammers at these events, please let me know either by pm or posting. Nader has offered to provide us with posters and promo items for such events. Please contact me with relevant information and dates and I will do my best to set it up for you. Thanks and Happy Street Teaming! If you haven't signed up for the Canadian Street Team yet, what are you waiting for? Please stop over at lovehammers.com, visit the Canada Street Team folder and sign up...the thread is strategically titled "Please Sign Up Here" Nader with Marty in Toronto

That is really good news!
I'm pretty sure Nader is the one who posted on the LH board at least once is the thread "What more can we do...".

Kate,
That Nader is cool!! (Haven't met him but I like what he is doing up there!) I agree, we need a Nader in USA but for now, I am more than happy to print flyers at my own expense to spread the word.

Dude! Is there a Nader for the US? That is so cool! Sadly no ...I asked him already...unfortunately he doesn't know of anyone there who would be willing to get so involved with a band's Street Team. We're very lucky! This is not part of his job...he is not obliged to help us out, but lucky for us he saw how passionate we are about the band and has so graciously offered to help out. He's been hammered guys...totally and completely hammered! lol

After noticing that we were handing out promo items, he approached me to see where we were from...who we were with. We had a lengthy discussion with him (and Marty!) and then after the m&g, we shared some ideas. We told him our board names and gave him the website addtress. The next day he posted. I talked to him last night and he said that he's going to try to post more often too.

He does have a lot to learn about them though...lol...I'm teaching him! We're still doing our own promo stuff too but with the help from the big guy we expect to really soar. He is very impressed with the Street Teaming efforts...I don't think he had a clue before of just how big Lovehammers' fan base is.

There were 5 of us at the Bon Jovi concert here and we all just made and donated our own LH promos - just anything we could to get the word out. Grass roots and all, it is...Good luck, Kate and Canada!

Awesome job you guys are doing plus that Nader sounds like a great guy, mind you I don't think I have found anyone who isn't nice on MC.org or the LH board, now isn't that a testament to the band and the guys in it!

Grass roots and all, it is...Good luck, Kate and Canada! Bon Jovi concerts are an awesome place to street team. Sadly, they don't have any Canadian dates that we can hit up but if/when it happens we'll be there. We too, are using our own promo items that have been designed by American and Canadian Street Teamers. The sad reality with the labels' and promoters' promo items is that they need to see results by way of sales before they can justify spending the money on promotion...well, without sufficient promotion, how do we make sales? It is a vicious circle. Since this is the case, Nader's promo items are limited and we're being selective about which concerts/venues to hit up. For the concerts that don't qualify for Sony/BMG-Epic promo items, we're using our own items. We're also using them in combination with items from the label. Together we're gonna make this thing work! Thanks for your input and please check out the LH board Street Team folders. I've just posted some Motely Crue concert dates and flyer info over there.

Thanks! We're very fortunate to have Nader working with us. You're right..the fans are a reflection of the band...everyone is so great! And btw, not sure if you read my Toronto review or not but...Franny and I had a chance to spend a LONG time with Marty after the show (Nader shared some of that visit too) and one of the topics we discussed with Marty was the Australian/NewZealand Street Team! Franny mentioned a friend from NewZealand and Marty's eyes lit up. He was so impressed with the Street Teaming efforts there! Keep up the good work!
