Here's a wicked little idea I came up with. LOL I've sent my online friends a link to the Lovehammers video: stockyardfilms.com/videos/?video=lovehammers_demoAnd then I include a link to the Sony Lovehammers page for them to order the CD while 1) it's 25% off and 2) they can get an autographed copy. The power of persuasion...... ;D That coupled with the Lovehammers selling the CD simply by utilizing the kick ass video! |

I know a lot of people hate the idea of writing to a radio station, but a really quick and simple thing to do would be to write your fave station that you're pretty sure will play the Lovehammers. Pick out your favorite DJ and just tell them the Lovehammers will be in town on so-and-so date and that it will be really cool if the station would interview them or feature them. That would be a short and sweet and realtively painless letter to write That is a very simple task to do and it is so powerful. I'm on it RC ;D |

Clever, Amy!  It made me think of the chance of getting a promotional E-mail from the band or Epic for the new CD. Has anyone else gotten one of these? Usually has lots of graphics and sometimes plays a song as well. Sometimes you open it up as a greeting card. Oooh the possibilities...... I hope they do that! |

That would be a short and sweet and realtively painless letter to write GREAT idea! My fave L.A. radio station is KROQ & the morning show with Kevin & Bean is the bomb. They have what is called "Breakfast With (Lovehammers)" & I'm going to write them over & over until they have Lovehammers on. I wish they could do it that Friday morning but that might be tough for the boys right after the Pala & Highland shows...I went to Breakfast with Incubus & got to see them play at a tiny restaurant. Just incredible. And, they ususally do these breakfasts when a band is launching a new album, so PERFECT! Angelinos start writing to KROQ!! |

Fellow fans, Here is what I am doing and I think it is a pretty good idea to help get the sales up and the word out: I am buying about a dozen or so of these cd's--many of them over on www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000CSUMA8/102-6721859-2771319 Amazon.com since I am going to be giving them to friends, family, associates who do not know the band so wouldn't need an autographed booklet as much as the die hard fans (since there is a limited number of those, I thought best to let the diehard fans order them). What I plan to do is give quite a few of them away as Valentine's this year with a card that says Roses are Red, Violets are blue, This band rocks! and so do you!... or something equally corny. But I want to get it into the hands of people who might not know the band but should. Another idea..... all of you folks going to the Viper Room...well that is good for you, but could you possibly each one of you bring one person along who doesn't know the band so they can experience a LH show too? There are only limited tickets for that and we need those who haven't discoverd the band in LA to do so. So take a buddy or associate who doesn't know the band like you do. Spread the LOVE... |

You don't need a holiday. I sent my friend a LH CD when she was going through a tough time to let her know that I was thinking of her and that she might enjoy some great driving music. She really appreciated it. I've also ordered 7 copies of the new CD that do not have autographed booklets that I plan to give to people that have not heard of them.
