Yay! I just heard back from a music writer - finally! She writes for www.BellaOnLine.com. This is her response - "Shoot me a press kit and I'll feature them". (mailing address deleted) Thanks, Peggy So I did send her the link to listen to the album online at VH1, but she clearly wants something by MAIL. I need everyone's thoughts. I'm thinking about: 1. Printing out the band bio 2. Sending her a CD ? ? ? and I really want to her to understand how great the band is - so maybe a few concert reviews? Or maybe there's an article/interview that I should print out? What else? Help!

I actually use do press kits for a livng...Sony should be sending them out by the bushel but a press kit contains press release, bio. 8x10 publicity photo, copy of the CD, and contact info for the band management/record label it should all be assembled in a folder with the bands name on front and there is a special little slot on the inside cover to place a biz card (usually the pr person) hope that helps

I couldn't have asked for a more qualified answer. I really wanted to add a personal touch, but I'll refrain and keep it simple and as professional looking as I can. Thank You, polarfan!
