I just called 104.1 Jack Fm in Mpls/St paul Minnesota. They said they would play Trees. They sounded like they were recording me because they asked me a bunch of questions about what I was doing today and he was using his radio voice. Now I sit and wait. I hope I don't have to wait too long but I am willing. I'll let you know if they play it.  |

Still haven't played it. It's been 1 hour. Man I looked at the time I posted this and this last hour has lasted so long. I didn't realize it had only been an hour it feels like 3 hours waiting for them to play it.  |

i called 103.9fm wrbr the bear in south bend indiana b/c none of the stations there are playing them so since that station pretty much plays hard rock to alternative i called them.i requested marty and lh and the dj said"are kidding me?did you call me yesterday"so i said no im not kidding you and no i didnt call you yesterday.he said are certain you didnt call me i said no i didnt .so he said yeah we have it around the station.i dont know if he will play it or not i hope so.

So you know that others are calling the station. That's good. Too bad he said are you kidding me though.
They never played it from my request. I am going to call them this afternoon and when they say they will play it like they did yesterday I am going to make them promise. Then if they still don't I am going to call them the next day and say that if they don't play it I'll tell all my friends not to listen to there station...lol. I may or may not do that last part sounds good though. ;D

Well I am moving on to 93X now. There line is busy right now but they play a little heavier rock on there so maybe they will play the Lovehammers music. I don't know if Trees is heavy enough for that station though I'll request that and tell them that Straight as an Arrow would also fit with the kind of music that they play.

OK well I got through to 93x and the guy said he had never heard of them. So I proceded to tell him that it is the guy from Rock Star INXS that was 1st runner up and they are touring with INXS right now. He then seemed like he knew who I was talking about. He said they don't have the CD and I told him to go get it because they are a really good band. He said he is going to go talk to there program director for me. So we'll see hopefully he's being honest and will actually check into this. I'll call back in a couple days to see if they have checked into it.

The next time I call maybe I should ask for the program director. I also should have told them they are artist of the month on MSN right now so lots of people are into them. I will tell them that next time.

He then played there 104.1 station logo whatever you call it then I was supposed to start talking right after. He said to sound really sexy and like I really mean it. So I did my best and he said that was pretty good but then told me to make a thrrrrrrr noise so I did and said Lovehammers right after. It sounded really good actually. They really better play it after all of that. They said they would try to fit it in. He better.

Well I couldn't listen to the station forever but they have all of the songs they play listed on line even shows the exact minute they play and Lovehammers is not on there. I think he was just messin with me. I am so tempted to call back today with a few words for him.
I also found out from my husband last night that when that radio station first started they advertised "we play what we want, you can call in all you want but we will still only play what we want".
I wish he would have told me that before I kept calling there and they made me act like an idiot. I'm giving up on that station. I'll probably call and yell at the guy but I am going to work on a different station to have them play it. The guy was normal at 93x. He said he was going to check with the program director.
