FYI, my somewhat devious plan to get the highschoolers involved seems to be working. I came back from Chicago with 5 copies of the new CD and gave two to my daughter. She has passed them onto the influential kids at school and they are loving it. Yesterday I saw that she was I.M.ing another kid who for some reason (I swear she didn't start it) was quoting lines from Trees to her! So she mentions MC and the guy writes, "Oh that guy rocks, He should have won." So now he gets a CD too. (I have ordered 5 more from Amazon.) Now before I end up supplying the whole school, I have started telling my daughter to instruct would be fans to go to Amazon.com and bug local record stores for CD. I also recommend buying it from iTunes (so they can get WYWH) but that is not an option for most Asian residents. Will let you know how it's going.... Oh and btw, it helps to recommend a starter song for newbies. My daughter says Casualty does it for her and she has everyone start with that... most are already familiar with Trees.

My flyer to have bands play cover songs of the Lovehammers has worked. I just asked my cousin who is the events organizer of the place I'm working at right now knows people who wanna do Lovehammer songs. I will be in charge of the video production so that you guys can see and hear them. I might even SING, LOL, with the bands. If I get up the nerve....that is. Isn't this so awesome? What songs do you want done? I'm thinking...of course, TREES, HOLD ON, CLOUDS, THE RIDDLE, STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW...OKAY...THE WHOLE ALBUM!!!! I'll probably siNG back-up or duet and maybe do some percussion like the tambourine, or just the drumset (if I still remember). I can't wait. It's still in the works so please be patient. We're gonna have our own ROCKSTAR LOVEHAMMERS SHOW in Cebu, Philippines!

HOORAH have had great street team surprise today. Bumped into very famous local fashion designer to whom I had previously spoken about band. She is loving me cause I got an article about her into Women's Wear Daily. Told her I was sending her CD next week when it arrives from US. She asked to use the LH music in fashion shows. Hope the guys don't mind, but I said HELL YES! She also has massive music connections in town and says we should be able to get LH here as headliners with anoterh band she digs as opening act! My daughter in meantime says her first convert is already becoming fangirl. Daughter (D): Hey did you like the CD? Friend (F): Yes, I listened to is while I was doing homework. D: Really? Cool. F: Actually I just kept hitting repeat on the first song -- really love it.
and that is how it begins....

Hi ara, Mia and all of our Philippine friends here,
I was so saddened to hear about the horrible mudslide that took so many lives in Guinsaugon. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all of the families touched by such a tragedy.
Luv, Den

Hi Den, It's another tragedy we have to unfortunately deal with. Thank you so much for your care and concern but so many people are still missing and the death toll is rising. It's heartbreaking. Mia

Hi Den,
Thoughts and prayers from people like you eases out the pain caused by this latest tragedy in our country. We are lucky that Metro Manila was spared, but you can feel the grief and loss around.
Thank you very for your heart-felt concern.

'guess Casualty has a magnetic effect especially on young girls.. my 2 daughters (ages 9 & 11) also loves that song. they always play that song on repeat and sing their hearts out everytime. I recently "baptized" 7 friends with LH music. They so loved the tracks (especially clouds and straight as an arrow). I only have one extra copy and I had to make lots of reasoning to the other 6 people who went home empty handed. sigh, i just wish Sony Music Philippines will soon release the CD here.. I do not want to start a cold war here ;D

Hi, Trees! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers regarding the latest tragedy that hit the Philippines. I am lucky that my family and I are so far away from the site of the devastation. But like you, I am bothered by what happened and offer my prayers as well. We need all the prayers especially around 1,500 people (including school children & teachers) remains buried under 30 m of mud & rocks. It's so sad, so tragic...

Contact Information Email: y101@y101fm.com DJs Booth Number: (63)(32) 412-6101 Website: www.y101fm.comI was on yahoo messenger with Y101FM Cebu's program director and she said they will listen to the LH album again and pick a song to test run. I told her to use "Trees" because that's what LH is promoting now. However, if they choose another song; that's their call. The only way they're gonna bring me back on air to promote the band is if the song does well. I will keep you posted on which song they have chosen. However, I know for a fact that they have "Trees, Hold on, & The Riddle" on their playlist. So, it wouldn't hurt to get a head start on the requests. The program director said that the success of a song is based on listeners requests. On the webpage, left hand side, there's a portion that says DJs Booth, click on it. You will get to request to a DJ of your choice directly. I've dealt with DJ Sir Charles and Newscaster Teena. Just make song requests to all of them. Here's the link as well: www.y101fm.com/dj.phpThis radio station has net radio so if you're an international "requester" mention you listen to them on-line so your request becomes "genuine". If you're a domestic "requester", call in, email, or request to a DJ. Make sure to open your media player first--just in case you have problems tuning in and then type: y101.mozcom.com/y101/The station will be doing a test run for days/weeks. We gotta get the Lovehammers as the #1 Requested Band on this radio station. Thanks!
