Spent Friday night out with my buddies- joints are full of people talking about anything but politics.... Spent Saturday in a mall- tons of families with kids yapping and running around.... Sunday- became a witness to a very enchanting wedding. The young couple full of excitement and anticipation to a blessed life together.... Today Monday, I'm at work, weekend reports came in and our business did great... Life goes on...for we are backed up by a more powerful source of strength and calmness. Rock on!

at this point, i'm honestly not doing good. many people havebecome so use to the craziness of the philippines. i'm not. my family has gone through a death threat. my cousin in the navy was murdered 10 years ago. we never got justice. it's easy to just say hey lets have a beer...life goes on. i don't think i have the to inspiration to continue street teaming. my own personal life is in a state limbo. please know that i appreciate everybody's concern. til next time...but i don't know when that is. thank you for everything.

Do what you have to do, Mia. The news coming from the PI sounded positive yesterday, but I know it's completely different to actually be living it.

Yes...it's different for everyone. My family has gone through stuff that most people will be frightened. People make jokes about the terrorists attacks, the riots, the murders...well it's not funny to me. What you see on the news isn't always the truth. If you wanna know, there are just too many murders and kidnappings to fit a whole newspaper so they just don't bother to print it. I don't mean to be a downer. I'm just telling the hard reality. I'm not the kind of person who sugar coats things. It's great that Ara can just party as if nothings really wrong. I'm not like that. If I can find away to leave...I'm leaving. It's just talking a long time. Yes life goes on....but I'm sick and tired of everything...the corruption, the killings, the illegal stuff. I wish I had Ara's positive outlook but unfortunately I feel like the the scrooge right now.

I don't mean to sound negative here. It's just that I've witnessed and been through things that most people don't wanna go through.
On a happy note, Y101 has added TREES as part of their play list and is entering the song into the their top 20 to see how it does. I said goodbye to them today. Once the pictures are developed, I will post them. I hope I'm able to lift my spirts up.

Glad we could be here to listen. Try to remember to focus on what is truly important in this life and take one day at a time. If you always worry about the future you can not enjoy the present. None of us is sure what the future holds in store for us, but we can enjoy every moment we are lucky enough to spend with our family and friends. Big hug coming your way. Luv ya girl Den

Everybody deals with adversity in different ways. That Ara can continue with life is good. The world wouldn't be able to function without people like her. I liked what she said in her post:
Everybody has to find their source of strength, and that can be different things to different people. For me, at a very difficult point in my life, that strength (or at least part of it) came from Lh's music. So what Ara said fits here too: Rock on!
Anybody want to talk Street Teaming? What's going on?

Hello. Yes...you all have very valid points. I'm just really at a low point in my life right now. I ended up in the hospital last tuesday and I'd rather not discuss why. I'm not sure if I can say I'm okay. I will be leaving the island of Cebu this evening. My father was so distressed about me being in the hospital that he flew in 2:00am in the morning Weds. I'm lucky I have a father & mother, friends, who loves me, as well as my cousins, aunts, and uncles in Cebu who had to deal with me having to be taken to the hospital. I do have to find some way to find strength within myself. I was just at a breaking point and not only because of what's being going on politically in the Philippines but my own personal strife. Thank you for all you wonderful words of wisdom.

This is Radio Lingo now. My friend June, who's the program director of Y101FM Cebu explained to me that they did an "attempted entry", a kind of a teaser, of Trees into their weekend Top 20 Charts. They believe it's a good song. The most important thing to do is keep on requesting it. Afterglow by INXS is currently #1 in the Top 20 Charts. They will have to continue to put more exposure on Trees. I will be keeping in touch with them through email and messenger. So you guys, keep on requesting the song. I've already provided the instructions on how to do this. I also gave them a copy of LH's debut CD so they can also promote the other songs of the album. Thanks again Den for sending me the extra Cd.
The major drawback in the Philippines is that Sony/Epic haven't even released their CD here. It's very frustrating to promote a band and then people can't buy their CD. It's ridiculous.

Hi Mia, I know you probably could not hear the interview Marty Casey on a Balanced Breakfast. Palari from New Zealand and another fan from France brought up the same problem of not being able to get the CD. You have done a fantastic job girl and I know it won't be long before you will be back to doing your radio Street Team Work again. It may be just what you need and Manila needs. Some Lovehammer love. If you need any more CDs, just let me know. You Rock!!! Den

I hope you got my e-mails and can find a way to rekindle your love for the band.
There's lots of positive energy around for all the PI street teamers!

I've never met, talked, or even seen Lh in concert, but that doesn't negate my feelings about them or for them. I connect to Lh through their music. If I can help one person become a fan of Lh or just buy the CD, then I'm happy. That's why we're here, to spread the LOVE.
Now, back to Street Teaming.

i've managed to get my head out of the gutter. have been going through rough few days. was in the hospital. was engulfed by the moody blues. anyway, the tides have changed and the Goddess Artemis has helped me see through the darkness. so back to street teaming...even if i have to dodge tanks and bullets in this crazy country that i live in. yes, Den, if the offer still stands, i would need more cds. i make really pretty bracelets. it probably won't be the same amount as the cds but they're made from by me. we can exchange. thank you.
