There's an online music service called Pandora, which is part of something called the "music genome project" where music is broken down by its characteristics. There was an article about it in yesterday's NY Times: www.nytimes.com/2006/09/03/arts/music/03leed.html?ex=1158033600&en=b743672a6ca6d1bc&ei=5070&emc=eta1It basically lets you create your own online "radio" station ... you tell it what kind of music you like, and then it searches for other songs that it thinks you might also enjoy. In order to do that, it tracks what you choose along the way and keeps on refining its choices (you can tell it what you do and don't like when you hear it). It's a great way to hear new music that you might not ordinarily find, and to give positive feedback. It also links to Amazon and iTunes so you can buy something immediately if you like it. If we all sign on to Pandora (which is free), and then choose Lovehammers as our primary interest, it will not only introduce us to other music, but it will also show that Lovehammers are a band that a lot of people are into. It might also "push" them to other listeners out there who haven't heard them yet. Anyway, here's the link to Pandora: www.pandora.com/

Hey very cool, wendy - sort of a subtle cyberSTing (yikes, if you have a lisp, don't try that one. .) Thanks for the link!
