I love Frankenstien. Especially when he gives the little girl a flower. He's so sweet.
And when he meets his bride for the first time, and she hisssssses.

I am not a fan of scary movies....but I voted for Frankenstein because it is one of my all time favorite books. I love the fact that Mary Shelley was only 19 when she wrote it. I love the whole story about how Mary created the story that "haunted" summer of 1816 that the Shelley's spent with Lord Byron at Geneva.
So its Frankenstein for me...and about the only horror movie I will sit through is the campy "Rocky Horror Picture Show!"

I am not a fan of scary movies....but I voted for Frankenstein because it is one of my all time favorite books. I love the fact that Mary Shelley was only 19 when she wrote it. okay, mad props to Rocky Horror, but it's gotta be Vampires. They're sexier than your average monster --and I spent most of my teenage years hooked on Ann Rice's Interview With A Vampire, Lestat, etc. Hollywood tried to ruin it for me with that whole Tom Cruise, thing, but we all know now who would be the perfect Lestat....  |

I voted for Zombies, but Vampires would be a close second. I like Vampire in books, but Zombies in movies. Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and on and on...
I watched this show on the History channel last night that was about Zombies. It said that originally zombies were not how they are depicted now in films. Being a zombie was actually a metaphor for slavery. Zombies were basically slaves to their masters. But, in Night of the Living Dead, zombies were changed forever, in pop culture. That's the first movie that made Zombies flesh eaters and gave them the strength and the desire to kill people. We get our whole idea of zombies from that movie.

so I voted vampires -
I don't usually like horror-type movies (Rocky Horror Picture Show being a notable exception!) -
but was recently introduced to the Underworld movies (war between vampires & werewolves) and really like them a lot!!

I voted for vampires. No real reason behind it........Other scary movie monsters? Lately, Humans have been the "monsters" in the recent horror flicks. Mental health check anyone?  I know the world is a scary place, but if what the horror flicks show people doing to others (Saw, The Hills Have Eyes, Wolf Creek, ect....)then God help us all!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, maybe humans are becoming scarier than monsters. |

I chose vampires just because I think that of anything I think that they're the most interesting, but generally in "scary" movies, I like more psychological type movies, because actual imagery doesnt do much to scare me, it's more the stuff that messes with my head that gets to me.
