Widmore. I feel sure of it. Didn't you just want to cry when they got to the boat and Penny ran out? Didn't Ben say somit in one episode about killing her in one of the flash forwards this season? Let's hope that doesn't happen.

I am begging to wonder if Charlotte is Whitmore's real daughter and Penny is Annie? and there was a switcharoo on the island when they were little somehow? So if Ben kills Penny he will have killed his Annie, wouldn't that be a ....never mind

Also my friends theory about all of this is part of Hurley's PTSD and Multiple Personality disorder came back to my mind when he was sitting there on the HELI not even thinking about getting off when they needed to lighten the load and no one even suggesting he get off, and then when crashed how did he get into the lifeboat first? Then Sayid taking him to a "Safe" place? it made me think that this is deep down in his Psyche somehow?
Anyway It is going to be a freaking long "Cruel Summer" waiting to see what happens to everyone....

Refresh my memory on Annie...didn't they say Juliet looked like her...I don't think she and Charlotte look a lot alike. Plus we know she will be off the island later (as was Locke apparently) working for Ben, right?

the real daughter of Widmore and Penny may be Annie. switched at birth or in some terrible accident mind altering experiment..I am just guessing and dreaming haha, who know?

On the myspace group for LOST I just read a theory a guy put out there that Widmore may be the Captain of the ship and the whole Black Rock drama, wouldn't that be Freaking Awsome? I can so totally see him as a pirate like Capt. that may be why he wanted the journal at the auction etc. It's going to be the longest summe ever!!!! argh

Wasn't there something about his ancestor being the captain on the boat??? Or someone involved in Hanso is a descendant of the captain??? I can't remember. Maybe he's an other - ageless like Alpert?

I had to get caught up on a few episodes and the finale. At first I thought I was with it, but in the end I was, well, lost.

I don't understand the supposed death of Claire. I mean....she just walks off and now she's dead?? I know she may have had a head injury from the explosion, but it just doesn't yet jive. Charlie chose to die down in The Looking Glass because Desmond had a vision that if he didn't then Claire wouldn't be getting on a helicopter/plane with Aaron. If she's dead..... I'm so confused! Maybe if Kate takes Aaron back to the island, something about Claire's death will be changed.

And Locke in the coffin? Nooooooo!

So, is Sun going to start secretly working with Whidmore? She blames him and Jack for Jin's death.

I can't stand the thought of having to wait till Jan., Feb. or March again to see more??

I did join some cool groups at myspace
one is named STILLLOST and the other LOSTSERIES. They have some really great ideas and
theories and no BS is tolerated. I think these groups will help the rest of the year go faster
that and the DVD's to watch and learn more from that I missed.

Thanks Jilly....I should check those threads out before the next season starts, because it's obvious that after reading the comments on THIS thread, that I am pretty lost! Hahaha. But that's good...there should be more shows like this on TV! I miss the X-files back in the day......

I haven't heard the latest on the SAG strike but I keep thinking this sucks and I hope that it doesn't mess up the LOST filming .......again?!

Starting in September (I believe it's the 15th )
the SCI-FI channel will start showing season 4 reruns
and in 4 hour segments! Just to get everyone caught up and ready for season 5!!!!

Set your "Lost" countdown clocks to 75 days: ABC has set the show's season premiere date.

The show will open its fifth season with a two-hour premiere starting at 9 p.m. ET Wednesday, Jan. 21. It marks a return to Wednesdays for the show, which aired after "Grey's Anatomy" on Thursday nights at the end of last season.

Other than the date and the episode titles -- "Because You Left" and "The Lie" -- ABC hasn't released any information about the new season. It's expected to run for 17 episodes -- with the 17th partially making up for last year's strike-shortened 14-episode season -- which would put the season finale in late April or early May.

It remains to be seen what the addition of "Lost" to Wednesday nights will mean for ABC's current lineup on the night. "Private Practice," which ABC picked up for the full season a couple weeks ago, is likely staying put, but it's potentially bad news for either "Pushing Daisies" or "Dirty Sexy Money," both of which have been struggling in their second seasons.

The network has yet to announce a full midseason schedule. ABC also has three comedies, including NBC pickup "Scrubs," and three new dramas on tap for 2009.

"Lost" ended its fourth season by showing how the Oceanic Six got off the island and formed their cover story, with flash-forwards showing all six people decidedly unhappy with their post-rescue lives and realizing they have to go back. Which could be a problem, as the finale also showed Ben (Michael Emerson) moving the island to points unknown. And then there's the matter of Locke (Terry O'Quinn) being revealed as the man in the coffin.

Answers to some of the questions posed by those developments will start coming in 75 days.
