Sorry Gals,
I had to to a discipline an employee this morning and it got ugly - I hate it when they cry.
My 2 cents worth (before run out to lunch)...
I got chills when Rose told Locke that they both knew it wouldn't take several weeks for his leg to heal. The island and it's magic are getting intense.
I can't wait to see what happens next.
It doesn't look like there will be a new episode next week, but I promise to be on time for the next one.
Before then if you gals want to chat, just pm me and I'll join you on this thread.

I've been to that website a couple of times--not recently though. I should check it out again to look for new stuff.

Sorry about the discipline thing 4r. Even when you know it is necessary as a supervisor--it is hard when someone takes it so personally and ends up weeping. Go to lunch and enjoy the beautiful day!
I need to go back to work myself.

I had probs with my internet, now you're all going to leave me. That whole thing with Rose being healed by the island and then she knew that Locke had been in a wheelchair. Hmmm. I didn't know about that website. Locke is trying to recreate that map. They had it in Entertainment Weekly. Did anyone else see it? I'll scan it and post it here before the next chat. I read an interview with the actress you plays Kate. She said that they are always kept in the dark. Apparently thay also have some input in developing their characters. Until next time muchachas. . . .

Do either of you go to www.oceanic-airlines.com and mess around to find the hidden meanings and movie clips etc. I had a bunch of fun on there.... Haven't been to that site, but I sometimes go to one through LiveJournal that sometimes gives out spoilers...or what they claim to be spoilers. I can never quite tell if I should believe what I read there or if people are just spouting a bunch of BS. But, they did get it right last week about Michael coming back, but not with Walt. (I swear that kid is going to come back and be like 23 or something – like they do on the soaps. ;D ) PM me if anyone is interested in the site link.

I heard the kid who plays Walt has gone through a major growth spurt so it will be interesting to see when/if he is back on the show if they use the same actor and how they explain him growing so much in 40 days or whatever it is supposed to have been by that time.

I was wondering about that, CJ! Like if Walt's going to come back all manly and stuff. He's had to have hit puberty by now, being in the jungle all that time and everything.
I bet Sun and Jin are going to have a baby soon. Since the island has all those glorious healing powers and such.
Edited because I have issues spelling "puberty", apparently.

I didn't even connect the healing powers to Jin and Sun's pregnancy.
Another observation--the idea of a plane breaking in half before crashing and there being any survivors at all seems weird to me. Like--what is this place--a dream? Purgatory? Hell?

Oh, don't even get me started, CJ. I have all kinds of theories...it's kind of irritating how much this show makes me think.
The producers have stated that they're not in purgatory, but that just seems to make more sense than anything else.

Hello my fellow lost watchers from cali. I missed the chat yesterday had to go shopping w/ girlfriend and she buys the whole store it took for ever. I'll try to make the next one sorry by the way it was a good episode, when rose went to the healer and he could not connect the energy to heal her made me think later that maybe certain people on that Island are able to harnes the energy for healing or maybe something else, and those are the people they took like walt, it seems almost like some sort of bermuda triangle type thing with a magnetic field. Well it's probably not that. I wish I could figure it out. see yall next time

Another two cents of mine...
What about when Claire went to the psychic and he 'felt' something about the baby.
It seems to me that it was more than the crash that he saw.
Its kind of how the healer felt about Rose.
If only we knew...

I couldn't find the Entertainment Weekly April 7 copy that shows the Lost map. But guess what? It's online on ew.com. They also have a plethora of all things Lost. Check it out. Here's the link for the map. www.ew.com/ew/article/commentary/0,6115,1178384_3||1045714|1_0_,00.html Now the burning question is: Do they get Walt back? I'll see in about 1 hr 11 min. ETA: Looks like you need to copy paste the link in your browser.

Holy smokes.....what a last 5 minutes! It was good...but I actually laughed at the last 5 minutes of the show. Do you think that the actresses were getting punished for their DUI incidents?

I just read an article and the producers said it wasn't a warning: "Don't drive drunk!"
The actress that plays Ana Lucia only wanted it to be a limited run when she went up for the part. And apparently the last five minutes have an important tie into next season.
I think the Others black mailed Michael to do that so he can get Walt back.

WTF?! Just when I think I've got it somewhat figured out, Michael blows Ana Lisa away? What about Libby? She was holding a pillow (what the hell was she doing there anyway?). I think they showed her on the previews, so maybe she didn't die (saved by the pillow?).
Was the message really Don't Drive drunk"? :(LOL I was in Hawaii when they got popped for DUI. Big news there.
So, what were the messages hidden in the TV commercials? Anyone know?

Hey everyone, we must be about 6 or 7 episodes behind you guys down here in Australia. last night was probably the most boring episode so far by my standards. It was the one where Michael knocks out Locke and locks Jack in the hatch room and goes running off looking for Walt, they run after him and meet the 'others' on the island. That was about it, pretty slow and boring, nothing exciting happened really. We did get to see a lot of Jacks background back at his hospital but nothing wonderful. Next week looks more promising. Hopefully it gets better, this season has been a little slower than season 1 with not so many surprises I find! Cheers, Hel
