Acoustic Chicago: music & art for the environment
Posted in News on February 6th, 2008, 8:14 pm Add comments"
RW RUEHLEN will be exhibiting at ‘ACOUSTIC CHICAGO’ on February 20th with a handful of other emerging Chicago artists. He will also be performing ‘live art’ at around 11 PM that night.
FEATURING: The Andreas Kapsalis Trio, Sarah Potenza, Mike Mangione, Micki Croisant, Jen Porter, Mari Anne Jayme, Malcolm Palmer & very special guest host MARTY CASEY!
Acoustic Chicago will host an eco-friendly event to build further awareness of the growing sustainability movement in which Chicago has gained some national attention. We have sent out a call for creative minds to focus on one particular issue: protecting the environment!
With an environmentally conscious approach, we hope to share a natural vision of art in which various forms of creativity compliment each other. A true fusion of multiple types of art including music, dance, painting, photography, fashion, film, and video, the E-coustic Chicago Art and Environmental Celebration’s purpose is to support these art forms and the deserving artists behind them, while maintaining environmentally conscious themes throughout the evening.
Wednesday, February 20th
