I always watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. They are the best news programs on TV. I was tempted to enter Stephen's green screen challenge and use a LH song, but I decided against it.

I thought about doing the green screen challenge too and doing some kinda weird effect thing, but forgot my lack of software

Their look back over the last 10 years segments are so funny. The Even Stevphens montage was hilarious.

Yeah...I like to joke about it with a friend of mine whose kid I look after...she used to date Stephen's older brother back in college...

Just a cool note: In one of my textbooks, the author was discussing the effects of news media and the internet, and he quotes a piece from Jon Stewart on Crossfire slamming the Crossfire boys. Here's the link to the clip: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rmZkw169xEI

Have you guys laminated the Rolling Stone cover featuring JS/SC? I think it's brilliant --and Marureen O'Dowd's story is great fun --even if she does toot her own horn a little too much. Brilliant pix.

I did buy that copy of RS. Dowd is a little full of herself, isn't she? Colbert and Stewart were brilliant, though. Love them.

I don't think I have that copy. I may have to mooch it off my art teacher. They did a rather nice bit on the Comedy Relief special the other weekend.

I was laughing so hard at the Stephen Colbert last night. Some band called the Decemberists have a green screen challenge, so Stephen announced another of his where you have to incorporate his laser sword green screen challenge into their green screen challenge.

You mean "Tek Jansen Alpha Squad 7"? Yeah. Didn't want to take the time to misspell it. I swear, the kid's memorized it from beginning to end, word for word...I wonder how many times he watched the clip to do that?

Oh, I want a Tek Jansen poster. Tried to get my hubby a Member of Colbert Nation T for christmas but they aren't ready for int'l orders. grrrr. In the meantime, my fave little bit recently was the very end of the CR with Bill O'Reilly as a guest. O"Reilly says something like 'don't imitate me it's all an act." and Colbert says, "If you're an act then what am I?" roflmao

I can't believe I missed this thread!!! These are the two best shows on TV! My absolute heros!! ;D ;D ;D I can't remember a show that made me laugh so hard I had tears coming out. Colbert can do that to me! One of my favorite episodes was when he had Willie Nelson on. OMG - hysterical! ;D ;D ;D
