Home For The Holidays

On December 22, CBS will air Home For The Holidays with Rod Stewart. He is going to perform along with Mary Mary, John Legend, Katherine McPhee, and the lead singer from Five for Fighting (My brain is not working at the moment- I can't think of his name).

The show is sponsored by the Dave Thomas foundation, which helps find permanent homes for children in the foster care system.

Along with the performances, you will hear heartwarming stories of some children that have found happiness with new families and brand new lives to build.

Yeah...I was at this taping.

But, the cause is so important to remember....so many children are out there in the U.S without a family and they need good homes. Some are teens...others are babies.

They shouldn't be forgotten this season.

I did have fun...I guess I was surprised that I wasn't left on the cutting room floor during editing.

I was on a few shots and twice for a long time, when Mary Mary sang. I was the petite girl in the black dress and cardigan, clapping and dancing next to the kids in the front row.

I was excited to see it...but I think I annoyed everyone with my happiness.
