Don't laugh, but I just downloaded "Sexy Back" by Justin Timberlake...I like the song...is that a crime? ? Hey - music is music, it's not my taste, but if we all liked the same then the world would be boring. I have quite a wide variety of stuff on my MP3 - mostly Lovehammers, Green Day, Corey Taylor, Queen, The Smurfs (yeah, I'm a child! ;D ) Pink Floyd, Korn, Inneranger (my boyfriends band) Roxette, Blur, Disturbed, RHCP, The Cure, U2, Tenacious D to name a few.

I just added the U2 CD - How to Dismantle an atomic bomb, and took off all my christmas music since it's too late for it now, I also added a local artist Alison Pipitone, and some more "random" new music that I can't think of at the moment.

Okay, I don't have an iPod yet, but I do have the nifty, handy-dandy mp3 player that was part of Bath & Body Works after Thanksgiving sale.
Now for the mix. My mixes are always a bit funky...
Punk cover by Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies of "I Will Survive"
Jennifer Holliday - original B'way cast of Dreamgirls - "And I'm Telling You, I'm Not Going"
Several tracks off LHs' L'Strange and several off MC&LH (maybe all off of both, now that I'm looking)
Cat Stevens - "I ThinK I See the Light", "Lady D'Arbanville"
DC Talk - "Jesus Is Just Alright" (Techno Mix)
Stevie Ray Vaughan - "Pride and Joy"
Cheap Trick - "I Want You To Want Me"
Tobymac - "Catchafire (Whoopsi-Daisy)"
Moby & Gwen Stefani - "Southside"
Little Texas - "Southern Grace"
Martha Byrne - "Imagine" by Lennon
Beatles - "In My Life"
OutKast - "The Whole World"
Cowboy Bebop Soundtrack - "No Reply"
No Doubt - "Hella Good"
I thought Mary J. Blige's "Rainy Days" was on here, but I'm not seeing it in the files...
Anyway, that gives you an idea where my head has been at lately...I think I'm about to do some swapping out though before long. I need some BABS and Megan Slankard Band on here. The player only holds around 33 songs and these have been on here for a while...I'm trying to save up for a video iPod.

When I'm not listening to the Lovehammers...I usually listen to Classical Music. At this moment I'm playing Ivo Pogorelich performing Chopin's Preludes

Nick Cave - Murder Ballads Fantastic album! You've made me remember about that one now, will have to see if I can find my copy of it. I don't tend to put many albums on my MP3, I like the variety of having loads of songs on there.

[/quote] Dawn, I have only recently re-discovered Nick Cave. I kinda let the commercial type of music take me over for awhile. Where the Wild Roses Grow - who would have thought I would EVER have had Kylie Minogue singing in my ears! But my absolute fave on the album is O'Malleys Bar.

Richard Cheese has a interesting sound. He sings songs like "Baby's got back" and "Hungry like a wolf" and remakes them. His sound is lounge or old Las vegas night club. It is interesting. They played some of his music at a Hot topic store, I was shopping at (yes, I do shop at Hot Topic) and I thought it was cool. Just can't play it around my little one, explicit lyrics....
