I hope someone posts the second they see tour dates. I check for them when I think about it. This is a show I need to see and surely it will be a quick sell-out.

The latest (that I could find) from vanhalenmusic.com: Van Hosejob Tuesday, 20 February 2007 If you took the “Under” bet on how many shows this summer’s Van Halen reunion tour would last, guess what? You win! A legitimate source has confirmed that the outing has been “indefinitely postponed.” Well, at least we got a new color photo of a semi-reunited Van Halen. If they ever do actually work this mess out, let’s hope that Michael Anthony is the guy standing on the left. On a less disappointing note, it appears the group’s third best-of collection has also been shelved. And the saga continues …

GE- I think that was just a rumor.. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
February 21st, 2007
A new rumor has been circulating that says the Van Halen tour has been "indefinitely postponed". But don't worry - the tour will very likely still happen this summer.
Melodicrock.com issued a Van Halen update in response to the rumors yesterday, saying in part:
"I am told that this postponement should be just that - a temporary situation that can be sorted so that the dates that had been arranged can be re-booked and announced down the track somewhat. The band is unlikely to comment beyond the fact the tour will (at this stage) start later than originally planned. The line-up for this tour remains Eddie, Wolfgang & Alex Van Halen and frontman David Lee Roth."
Also, the VHND's own sources are telling us not to worry and that the tour is indeed going to happen. We know that the date that the tickets were to go on sale has been pushed back from late February to sometime in March. We are hoping that the main reason for this delay is to coincide the official announcement of tour dates with Van Halen's March 12th induction to the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.
Another rumor we want to address - we are surprised to see that some websites are saying that Van Halen is currently being managed by Eddie's girlfriend (Janie Liszewski/High Profile Media). While it is true that Eddie's girlfriend is the band's publicist, the band's manager for the last three years is Irving Azoff.

I got this bulletin from Van Halen on myspace~
Mar 8, 2007 9:50 PM Subject EDDIE VAN HALEN "MY REHAB NEEDS HAVE SCUPPERED REUNION TOUR" Body: EDDIE VAN HALEN has revealed reunion plans have stalled because he needs to check into rehab. In a message to fans, the rocker admits he put a planned reunion tour on hold because he felt he wouldn't be able to perform at his best until he sorted out a few personal demons. The guitarist had reconciled with David Lee Roth and they announced dates with Van Halen’s brother Alex and his teenage son Wolfgang. But the tour plans hit a snag last month (Feb07) and shows were mysteriously postponed. Rumours circulated that the reunion itself had hit a stumbling block and that Van Halen and Roth had fallen out - but now the guitarist has revealed the real reason for the postponed dates. In a letter to Rolling Stone magazine, Van Halen writes, "I would like Van Halen fans to know how much I truly appreciate each and every one of you. Without you there is no Van Halen. "I have always and will always feel a responsibility to give you my best. At the moment I do not feel that I can give you my best. "That's why I have decided to enter a rehabilitation facility to work on myself, so that in the future I can deliver the 110 per cent that I feel I owe you and want to give you." He adds, "Some of the issues surrounding the 2007 Van Halen tour are within my ability to change and some are not. As far as my rehab is concerned, it is within my ability to change and change for the better."
