I downloaded MOMM and love the album. The more I listen to it, the more different songs grow on me. Just wondering what songs are connecting the most with people. I love Final Tunnel. I think the vocals and the music are so tight. The song actually reminds me of some very early U2 circa the WAR album. I think if they release this track as a single it would take off. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Hold On is such an awesome song. It should be released as a single - I definitely think it would go to No. 1.

I still like Use Me, I think it would be awesome redone in a better studio. Am I the only person who's never heard this song? Is it under another name on their site cause I can't find it anywhere and I'm dying to here it. My faves are Eye's Can't See, Say Your Sorry, and Low-Life Insurance(Let's Get Wasted)...though, honestly, I listen to every song from MOMM all the time . I don't have L'Strange yet , but I can't wait to get it so I can listen to the full length version of all those songs.

Just got my MOMM a little while back. I have to say that all of the songs are real good, but my top favorite is Eyes Can't See.

this is hard... MoMM: i really, really love all of the songs, so this is really tough for me... i have different faves everyday (my fave for today is This Town, early favorites were Eyes Can't See, Say You're Sorry, and The Tunnel)... but if i would be pressured to pick from the songs, i'd say: Wait For No One (i get this nice vision of marty doing the slow conductor move on the instrumental part near the end everytime i hear it ), Over and Out ( my life's out of focus, hocus pocus, i've become a machine... ;D 'nuff said), Call of Distress (love the verses, melody-wise... also love screamy marty...) and Clouds (LH song that gets to me everytime... makes me feel sad )... L'Strange: same case with MoMM... but i were to choose favorites: Real Man, Undertow, Confusion, Summertime in the City (at first, i'm really not fond of the song, but it grew on me and became one my most played songs in L'Strange)... early favorites were Sleeper and Rain on the Brain... How We Live: Straight As An Arrow (sexy, catchy, rockin'), Use Me (felt so sad for marty on this song.... i feel his sadness... ) Ultrasound: Velvet (what many would call the *thud/poof* song... i wish they'd perform this at any of their concerts in the future), Faded Gray, Into the Deep EndLA Demo: Clinici actually love all of the lh songs i heard so far... i think the songs i don't have/ have not heard are How We live, Sky is Falling (both from How We Live), and the whole version of the single Yes it Do/The Riddle...

I ordered MOMM from amazon.com and it took a month to be delivered. I was getting really impatient - but now that I have it, I realize it was worth the wait. I can't stop listening to it. My husband keeps asking if I will ever listen to anyone else again. That's questionnable!
My personal favorites - Say You're Sorry, The Tunnel, Eyes Can't See, Clouds
Now I just need to get L'Strange.
For those of you who have ordered the Live/Raw DVD, what did you think?

I am listening to MOMM now for the first time, and I must say that it is more raw and less immediate than L'Strange. I also noticed the deterioration of Marty's voice from the times of L'Strange, but that is not necessarily a bad thing (unless it hurts Marty from a physical point of view). Unlike L'Strange, the sound is very much characteristic of a LIVE act. Influences: some Stooges, early Nirvana and Mudhoney come to mind. Best tracks at a first listen to me are Say You're Sorry, Call of Distress, Couds and Let's get Wasted. I am not impressed with Eyes Can't See - it sounds like a punk version of Trees in a minor key! I think you have to listen to this more, while L'Strange hit me immediately. Marty's style is very defined already, he gained some soft tones on the show clinics, but he sounds just great. My favorite LH song for the moment remains SLEEPER, that reminds me of the little sweet gems you find in the latest RHCP records.
