It was on Q101 in Chicago! I wanted to crank it up so bad, but I had two sleeping babies in the backseat. Yay Lovehammers!

WOW
Can't wait to hear it on Aussie radio. Maybe then some of my 'not so switched on friends' will stop saying 'Marty who?'
Go TREES, bring it on down under.
Helen. ;D

Really? I didn't think the Lovehammers had released "Trees" as a single yet......I have only heard the demo on their website.

I'm pretty sure that's what it was. It definately wasn't the version Marty sang on the show. My mom was in the car with me and she said that she liked the song when he sang it on the show, but she thought this version was too screamy. We didn't hear it from the beginning, so I don't know if they announced what it was, and they didn't say anything when it was over.
But it was Trees. For sure.

You are so lucky to hear the LHs on the radio in Chicago. Does anyone know how to get a radio station to play new music? Is there a law against them playing music without some sort of payment or permission from the band? I would love to forward a copy of MOMM to our radio station so they could fall in love with them and invite them here for a show, (a girl has to dream) but I don't want to step on anyone's toes by doing so. Does anyone know if this is legal or if a station would even play a random cd coming in from a listener?

Henry, you can certainly send them a CD. They get unsolicited CDs from all kinds of sources. If they like it and want to play it, they will determine what is appropriate and will contact the right people.

I'm the opposite of your mom--I like the harder version they put out. But then, everytime someone insulted Marty calling him "Mr. Screamy face" on the msn board, it made me think "yeah, that's why I like him. Mad Conductor + Mr. Screamy Face =

I usually prefer screamy angry Mad Conductor Marty to sensitive Marty.. but i really like the RS version better than the LH version of Trees... but my ABSOLUTE favorite version of Trees is the version he did on the radio Sept 16th where he also did Suicide Blonde... its on this site in the Press Section.. it's hiding... but its awesome! Just perfect...
hmm I take it back... the guitar solo's not that good... Billy's is better... but only cause Billy's a GOD.

I just downloaded Trees for my IPOD. I have been so into MOMM and L'Strange, I haven't heard Trees in a few weeks. It was like listening to something new again! Can't wait to run tomorrow so I can listen to the whole thing again and again and. . . Is there somewhere that we can download the LH version (sorry if this has already been addressed.)

I'm hoping that Q101 will play them a lot now - to promote their Twisted 12 concert.
