I e-mailed Epic the other day asking them where the heck was the info on the LHs? They replied that they are very sorry and that I can have backstage passes for life. Um, I may have made the part up about them replying. O.K> good one. I nearly dropped off the bed, backstage passes for life. |

Um, I may have made the part up about them replying.  I'm hoping that Epic is taking a long time because they want to start off with the best artist page possible with all the new photos, sound samples etc., instead of just having a page up with the band logo and a place to put your e-mail - which is usually the case for a new artist. At least that's what I hope....... |

Hammerheads, There WILL be a pre-sale for the new cd. I am pretty sure the first few thousand cds will be signed by us, so get on it as soon as they give you the ordering info. We hope to have that info soon. We are currently compiling our mailing list, and coordinating with Epic to make sure everyone gets the e-mail at the same time, so it is fair. This is the last time I will talk about the name thing on here. I want to stress that the band fought NOT to have it what it is, we dont' like it, BUT, there is only so much you can do, and you need to pick your battles. Everyone we have met at Epic is great, and our long term vision is the same - there is just some confusion and different ideologies for the short term. Either way, the music is the same, we are the same, and our band's name is LOVEHAMMERS. If you want to help out the cause, come up with some cool logos, or artwork - who knows, maybe we can use one. Street Team - There are a few of you that are actively taking charge of this, and I love it, and appreciate it. We are going to need about 3-4 people to be in charge, so please let me know if you want to be one of those people. Once we get a team together, we can get started! Talk about fan appreciation. It finally motivated me to sign up for the mailing list. Hopefully, it worked. I'll probably never leave my computer now for fear I'll miss news on the pre-sale - LOL. Regarding the band name, etc. - Yeah, I'm not too thrilled about it, but I have seen it go the other way where a band was able to keep their name and they had decent CD sales, but the record label was not happy so the band name got switched for the second CD (where the singer's name got put in front) and the uproar it caused - it was insane. Ok, Marty talks about featuring his name in any upcoming tour during the interview titled Marty Casey, Dino & Bobby Kourelis, 10/04/05 on 97.9 WLUP with Cara Carriveau on the press page of martycasy.org. He said that they would have to have his name in the title of any upcoming tour because if they went to Iowa the people wouldn't know the Lovehammers. They would know his name because that's what they've seen on 36 episodes. He was very clear, even back then, that they would eventually just be The Lovehammers again.
I had forgotten how cool this interview was until I listened to it again. I remembered Marty talking about featuring his name, so I was trying to find it again.
