ahhhh - poor Billy!!  hee hee - using Dad's computer for a bit until it's time to head to brother's house for dinner - mom's reading newspaper, dad's playing sudoku (sp?) - and it appears we've run out of things to talk about ---- oh well ---  my dvd of the play I was in apparently isn't compatible with their dvd player - it comes up "no disc" - hoping we can play it at my brother's house!! At least I had some other pictures and newsclippings (and a Lovehammers CD) to give mom. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday and/or Mother's Day - (I feel like a bad mommy - my kitties are home alone  - who knows what they will have done by the time I get home late tonight!!)  |

I'm sure the kitties will be fine - just more than ready for supper when I get home. They are usually pretty good when I'm gone - it's when I'm sitting right there that they get into mischief!!  |

Hey people - it's really slow around here today...so I thought I would tell you the best part of my "Being stalked by ___'s band" story. I was going through a really long airport security line in Las Vegas and as it turned out I ended up being the next person behind the one with the funny hair, the one with the funny mustache and the one who best resembles a teddy bear. I had missed my original flight but luckily Amer West found me another. Apparently, so had they. People were looking at them funny...some recognized them & commented on the previous nights show...but nothing major. The line split to where you could go to one of like 5 different metal detectors. I followed the one with the funny hair. I hadn't said anything to him yet, as I didn't know what to say...but then it came to me, I would be my usual, brutally honest self. After walking through the detectors, as we were grabbing our shoes & bags, I turned to him and said... "You know, I caught your show earlier this week in Oakland and again last night here...and you guys were alright, but I am a Lovehammers fan, and I was there to see them. I really want to thank you for having them on tour with you, they are incredible. You have made a lot of people very happy."  He looked a little surprised, to say the least, but he said I was welcome and kinda laughed. Then I had to ride the little tram thing with all of them - except for ___. I didn't see him until later & my plane was boarding at that point. and I guess I wasn't completely honest, because I watched none of their show in Oakland and tried to take a nap during the Vegas one because I knew it would be a long night, and ended up in the lobby handing out LhFC postcards. That's all. |
