Needy, it was 65 here at 8 am. Now, low 30's and snowing. Yuck. Kiddo was waiting for me outside the school with no coat on and it was snowing. She forgot I tucked one in her backpack.

What's new you ask. My 5th grader was having a tough time in school. She failed a science test and got a D on a big math test, so I've been running a tighter ship at home. Therefore I cut out my afternoon board time. She had another big math test today and got a B. Whoohoo, that's why I'm here now. I thought I'd treat myself and hang with the fangirls.

My kid always forgets that I pack her stuff that she needs. She gets upset with me until I point out that she didn't bother to look. I would get "Mom, I was freezing 'cause you forgot my coat". Me: It's packed in your school bag. Kid: "Oh....well I wasn't cold anyway".

No, but I stressed over it and went back and forth on my decision all day. I probably should have gone b/c I'm going to have a ton of work to take care of when I go in on Monday.
