Okay so Memphis on Saturday, we decided to pay tribute to the King...so we headed off to Graceland which was only a few miles from said crappy hotel....ate at IHop and headed into the land of Elvis....woo hoo.... |

So, we drive up and park and notice some screaming girls and TV cameras, but don't think much of it...so we see the plane one of the museums and such....
We keep hearing screaming and see a Fox TV van....but still don't think much of it....
I asked one of the employees what was up with the whole screamy girls thing and she says the Idols are filming at Graceland....and all the tours and such are being delayed....hmmm....

So we FINALLY get on the tour van thingy and head into Graceland...we see the TV cameras and who I think was Priscilla Presley...which it is...being interviewed...cool...so anyway, we start the tour...
The first area has a piano and such and who walks out but Mr. Matola and Taylor...cool...but we don't want to pry and he looks nervous so we continue the tour....

You know how I lurk in there when they are watching it on the East Coast that way I don't have to hurry home to watch myself - I already know how it goes. ;D |

So we tour around and can I say...Elvis is so cool! He has more gold and silver records than any artist alive...totally killer...any way, it starts to rain a bit and we are out by the stables....
