Penny, My daughter still thinks she has 'something' on my son because she was so much bigger at birth. I'm trying to teach her its not something to brag about - especially because she wasn't pretty at all when she was born. Big fat face all squishy looking - my first actual thought was - 'Oh, she's not very pretty' How sad. Of course she's beautiful now (and almost grown into her head)

Absolutely no developmental delays. She'll be 10 in September and will be going on to middle school. My second one was 7lbs and 6oz. When my oldest was in the NICU there would be an occassional 7 - 8 lb baby in there and I swear it looked like a first grader squeezed into one of the isoletes. Hey GP: Do you have much experience with babies? Glad she ended up okay! Still can't get over the fact that you had her when you were 10. Chi - I don't get your questions. Speak slowly maybe?

Gp: Do you have alergies? That can give you a big doozy of a headach. I was 17 when my nephew was born. I loved the little bugger so much. I'm not a baby person myself but when it's your own or a close person or sibling's kid. It's so precious and sweet. Enjoy every minute of it.

Pretty woman, walkin’ down the street, pretty woman
The kind I like to meet, pretty woman
I don’t believe you, you’re not the truth
No one could look as good as you. mercy!
Pretty woman, won’t you pardon me? pretty woman,
I couldn’t help but see, pretty woman, that you look lovely as can be.
Are you lonely just like me? wow!
Pretty woman, stop awhile.
Pretty woman, talk awhile
Pretty woman, give your smile to me.
Pretty woman, yeah, yeah, yeah
Pretty woman, look my way
Pretty woman, say you’ll stay with me
’cause I need you, I’ll treat you right
Come with me baby, be mine tonight
Pretty woman, don’t walk on by
Pretty woman, don’t make me cry
Pretty woman, don’t walk away, hey, o.k.
If that’s the way it must be, o.k.
I guess I’ll go on home. it’s late.
There’ll be tomorrow night, but wait!
What do I see? is she walking back to me?
Yeah, she’s walking back to me, oh, oh, pretty woman

My 10 lb girl had jaundice and blood sugar problems so they kept her in observation for a bit. When our friends (they have no kids) came to visit us, they asked the nurse if she needed a bigger bed. The husband was worried she was too big for it and would roll out I KNOW! There were a bunch of itty 5 pounders in the nursery when my son was born and I heard one of the grandmas whisper "How old is THAT one?"
