You know you are a Marty Fan when instead of going out to dinner with a fairly hot guy, you opt to stay home to and work on a fan site for a definitely hot guy....Marty Casey.

This is true....I actually turned down a real live breathing date one night last week because I had (well, wanted) to work on MartyCasey.org And if you knew the last time I went on a real live date with a real live breathing guy....you would know how sad this situation is!

When you have to watch all Marty's videos from the show before you turn in for the night, but have to watch them in a certain order. Last three watched have to be Trees (for the voice, hip movement, etc), then With Arms Wide Open (he nailed it and the mad conducter always puts a large smile on my face), and last Creep (so I can fall asleep seeing those beautiful eyes). I never stop thinking about him. Even at work. I'll be in a meeting, the boss will be talking, all I'm hearing outside my head is "blah, blah, blah". Inside my head I'm hearing "...we got one shot, so where do we go from heeeeere!...."

When the phone rings in my office, the small (getting bigger every day) insanity insists that its Marty. He has read my posts and tracked me down to say "Thanks for your kind words I know you are married but will you go out with me?"

I have at least two message boards open and minimised on my computer so I can quickly dive in to Marty Land for a pick me up and I have all my pictures of Marty scrolling on my desktop.

The guy I share an office with said "You know T, you are starting to scare me with all this."

I replied "Get in line, I'm starting to scare me!"

When your birthday is this weekend and even though your husband wants to take you out and treat you like a queen, all I want to do is grab my girlfriend who loves rock 'n roll and go to Merrionette Park looking for Marty Casey and a Marty Party!

Man, I thought I had it bad!
Yes, I continuously listen to his downloads while I run and while I am driving to work. I hate the days that my friend is driving (we car pool) because she won't encourage my obsession with "your tall blonde boy." Unfortunately, like any addiction, I am hiding my obsession. I switch the cd in the car so my hubby won't know who I was blasting and I wait for him to be engrossed in something so I can sneak onto Marty sites.
But, to call out his name while you're with you hubby! I haven't done that yet, but I do suspect I whisper his name while I sleep as my dreams drift toward. . . well never mind.
Well, it's Tuesday after 9 and I dread that 10:00 hour when I won't see "my blonde boy" on the screen.
