Of course he'll do the dance... He'll also need a red envelope w/ Hit Me Baby in it ..the doll will scream whenever it it put in front of him. What a fun thread! I'll take the upside-down Marty, but only if you can see a little of his belly - hee hee Don't forget the black nail polish as an accessory....

In the year 2005, Santa Claus was astonished by the number of requests he was getting from women all other the world. They all wanted a Marty doll. He pondered, one finger against his nose. "Hmmmm, what to do?' So he called together his head elf, Miggy, and asked him what he thought. "I know," Miggy jumped up and down with glee. "A Marty Action figure." "Perfect!" declared Santa. "Get to work" So Miggy headed back down to the toyshop and got his best workers on the task. Dinno, Bilbob and SuzJor gathered around. Soon jingle bells from caps and toes sang a merry song as they toiled on. They were very happy with their collection and proudly showed it to Santa. Santa beamed and beamed. And Miggy and his top crew got extra candy canes at bedtime. Which one would you choose? The Marty Action Doll Collection 1). ROCKSTAR MARTY (comes with microphone) 2). HOT TUB MARTY (hot tub sold separately) 3). RED PILLOW MARTY (enough said) 4). TREEHOUSE MARTY (extra leaves included for privacy) 5). UPSIDE DOWN MARTY (includes free standing steel beam) 6). LOVEHAMMER MARTY (Billy, Dino and Bobby dolls sold separately) 7). SMASHING GUITAR MARTY (comes with guitar) ***POP****POP*****POP***** I woke up. Darn. What Marty doll would you like to have under your Christmas tree? (or holiday symbol of your choosing.) ;D I'd take any...but hot tub Marty sounds appealing; I mean, without the hot tub isn't basically Marty in his boxers covered in champagne? - Sound great to me!

Did you all forget the white belt? Or did I miss someone mentioning that? Marty is the coolest guy since Greg Brady to wear a white belt.

I was hoping the black nail polish would be added. Will the Lovehammer doll have squirrelly hair? I love the messy hair. And eyeliner was that a gimme or and accessory?

I will take all of the Lovehammer action figures plus all the acccesories. Hopefully the elves thought to include Marty's special eyes from the "Creep" song and those clothes too. That one stays forever with me.

How about an Action Marty doll that smashes guitars?

Coming here before starting the day? Sounds familiar . . . when exactly DID this place become a priority in my life?
And this thread needs to be subtitled 'All The Things We Love About Marty' . . .

MEANWHILE....... back at Santa's workshop.........
The entire Marty collection was ready to go and all the orders that had come in had been filled.
Bilbob, Dinno and Suzjor were working in the Muppet section when Miggy appeared in the doorway.
"Hu-hum." said Miggy.
The three elves turned to Miggy's earnest little face. Something was up. Ears quivering with anticipation, they put down their tools and gathered around Miggy.
"It's about the Marty Collection." Miggy announced.
"But Chief, it's right on schedule!" said Bilbob with a nervous squeak that he covered with a cough.
Suzjor's little bottom lip began to quiver like the first tremors of an earthquake. What if they had done it wrong? (Suzjor was a bit of a pessimist but she worked very hard at being happy, happy, happy.)
Dinno drummed his fingers nervously on the forgotten Elmo he was still holding.
"There's nothing wrong with what's been done." Miggy told them. "It's this."
He whipped a list from behind his back. It was an unruly list because it was so long that it snaked around his body and out the door.
They all gathered around Miggy to look at the list.
"Accessories" breathed Suzjor. As any woman would, she tingled with excitement as thoughts of shoes, glasses, belts and more danced in her head. Now she really was happy, happy, happy. She wandered away muttering under her breath, "Of course, nail polish and eyeliner..it has to be."
"Weird Science....." Bilbob murmured..... "Automation....." Everything else forgotten, he walked away from the circle and to his worktable where lights flashed, buzzers sounded and dolls of every description were engaged in all kinds of activities.
Dinno tossed the Elmo doll over his shoulder and looked Miggy straight in the eye.
"I want to work on the musical instruments." he said. "The drums, the guitars, the stages.. all of it." He danced away first beating air drumsticks before breaking into an entire air guitar routine."
Miggy's eyes teared with pride.
(to be continued....)

typodi This is the coolest thread ever. We've had so much fun with it.
Next step...The playsets.
The Lovehammer's magical stage 1. fog machine 2. lights (note to Leperpop fans-this will not be missing two lights) 3. Tons of tall stuff for Marty doll to climb 4. railing to keep the Marty Fan Girl dolls away (oh wait...we need Marty Fan Girl dolls...can Miggy take care of that too?)
Also we need the Hammerhouse set...
But I've got to go eat now. I'll let more creative minds work.

See, I was famished and could not even think that far! Definitely a mansion set.
But then would we have to include a JD doll and his megaphone complete with chairs for him to throw in the pool?
But this would be a good place for Hot Tub Marty.

And all the fabric covered walls--I think all red, yellow, shiny fabric--will be velcroed to the walls for easy redecoration.
7. Pool table in the billiard room for Marty doll to comfortably sit on while watching Mig doll and JD doll go through songs. 8. Hundreds of pages of mini sheet music for you to have your dolls fight over. (Of course your Marty doll will never have to fight with anyone) 9. Gothic Goblets

I'm glad everyone is having fun with this - that is exactly what I hoped would happen. All of you girls are terrific, creative and there's a four-year-old (in some ways - in others we're all grown up) in each of us wishing for that special doll. I'm compiling a new list for the North Pole. I will post any reactions or news coming from Santa's workshop.
