Ok, I'm really hurt. I didn't even get to sit on Marty's lap (thanks to Typodi) and you left out some important details from your story...
While our dear Carly was avoiding the rash of compliments from the gang, Bobby and I snuck off with a couple of eggnog beers. We sat behind the pile of Professor Marty dolls. I was slightly distracted by the raspy rendition of the periodic table, but got over it.
Bobby and I talked about the birds and the bees and how strange it is that there are none of either at the North Pole. He said that he appreciated my work and dedication in making his dolls as lifelike as possible. He started to write me a song, but since his writing talent went "Bam, Bam, Bam bam, Bam" I don't think you'll ever hear it. Still it was nice.
Then he had me sign one of my fangirl dolls. You know the annoying one that won't shut up. He said it was kind of cute. He signed his Bobby w/ drum playset for me.
We all piled in the sleigh and I got to sit next to Marty. Of course Carly/Agent 86/Ayesa, stole my Bobby away. He really does have a short attention span, bless his heart. But, I was the last stop on the sleigh ride. Unfortunately, I can't share the details of that part with anyone. I'm sworn to secrecy.

Lucky for me I was called back to the North Pole to celebrate the completion of the entire MC, LH, and RSINXS doll sets. Santa's sleigh came to pick me up and luckily I was wearing something other than my gorilla slippers.
The party went on for hours with everyone toasting each other with our Beernog and Suzjor bursting into tears with Chri-Han-Za spirit...
Bilbob and I snuck off briefly to go outside and make snowangels, and I gotta say I've never seen a tiny snowangel with such big biceps before - Yowza!
I grabbed some mistletoe outside and came back in and held it over Dinno's head. He laughed and gave me a peck on the cheek before Brodav grabbed him to give him a lecture on elven holiday fashion.
Everything else gets a little fuzzy here on out, because well...let's just say Beernog and cold medicine should not be combined.....
I do remember at one point the real "He Who Must Not be Named" made an appearance. Although he was 8% less irritating thanks to the hard work of typodi, once he started singing "The Twelve Days of Christmas" all the MC.org girls began pelting him with snowballs and told him to go stuff his turkey, because we knew that we really understood what the Christmas spirit was all about while he was just learning it.

I have to say this - I was the next to the last to be dropped off. It was Marty and I sitting directly across from Dramagirl and Bobby. I have a very good idea of what went on. Hu-huh!

So this is my story:
I decided to get some actual studying done, and so I settled down on my bed to memorize which century goes with which Roman author, and I flipped my iPod to Tom Petty so I wouldn't be too distracted.
Suddenly, outside my door, I heard this horrendous noise-bells and stomping feet. Thinking it was drunken frat boys streaking through the dorms again, I walk over to my door to tell them to shut up and put some clothes on. Really, no one wants to see that. When I opened the door, a bag falls into my room. I grabbed the handles to move it against the wall, when I noticed the cute picture of Marty sleeping on the bag.
I carried it in, looking at the photo in shock, smiling when I notice the rhinestones glittering the word "sex" across his chest. Inside is a tiny Upside-down Marty, weaving his lanky little body through the included lighting tower. And with him is a short note. "Merry Christmas-Marty, Bobby, Billy, and Dino."
Which is why I still have no idea what century Livy lived in.

Well, the other girls aren't saying anything because they don't want anyone to feel bad, but I'm just bursting so I will HAVE to tell you all. It was, without question, one of the most memorable days of my life. I finally got to meet Typodi, Ayesa86, Dramagirl, Beachgirl and Radioclash . . . fabulous people and now friends for life. It was wonderful seeing Marty and the Lovehammers again . . . the first thing Marty said to me was that we had to continue our little tradition and share a Beernog later that night. But the best thing . . . the VERY BEST thing about the North Pole Marty Party . . . was the recreation of the METRO CONCERT!!! Since the elves did not have to use the rest of the fairydust to bring the fangirls to the North Pole, they used it to quickly build a Metro set instead . . . complete with smoke machines, light pole and confetti cannon (we had to unwrap a little Dan Howard doll to work it). All of the fangirls and elves got front row, and it was simply amazing . . . awesome . . . stupendous. . . intense . . . incredible . . . the concert was everything everyone had described. We had the whole floor to ourselves, and in between being hypnotized by the Marty gaze, and running up to hug the Lovehammers in between songs, we were dancing all over the place. We were all so involved . . . just couldn't stop moving . . . flowing . . . rocking out. At the end of the show, we all piled onto the red pillows and got to know each other over Beernog and elf cookies. Every once in a while we had to reach over and pull someone back who had been laughing so hard they rolled off the pillow stack. What a night . . . WHAT A NIGHT! On the way home I sat on Billy's lap and found out we had so much in common. His wife sounds fabulous, my husband is fabulous, we are both raising two boys and want the same things out of life. We exchanged addresses and set a date for our families to meet at the beach once their tour is over. What a terrific guy he is and I'm so glad I got the chance to know him. Dino and Bobby are funny and warm and wonderful too, and Marty is . . . well what can I say? Marty is my inspiration and sets my soul free. That pretty much sums it up. When I got out of the sleigh, Marty handed me a totebag along with a giant hug and a kiss . . . and he whispered in my ear "I'll always remember when". Then they were gone and I just stood there with a grin on my face while bittersweet snowflakes fell all around me. I looked at my totebag . . . of course there was a Pomegranate on it ;D but thanks to Typodi I know what that means now and it's exactly what I wanted. Inside was my very favourite Marty doll (I'll keep that one a secret) and a Billy doll. Along with a note from each of the Lovehammers and the elves, bound up in a little scrapbook. A true treasure. What a night.

A note to the Marty Brigade^^: I've a been commissioned to draw illustrations for the Operation Marty Story, and I would like it if you could PM me with a rough description of what you'd like to look like in my drawings as well as your vote:
Do you want the drawing style to be: Chibi? (if you don't know this, check the thread "A little anime chibi of my friend" in Creativity Vault.)
Or...
My normal style? (which is...well...normal..)

Ayesa86 - I think I wanna be a Chibi - is that like a Chibi pet?
I looked up the thread - reminiscent of Doonesbury - way cool!
Franny2 - loved your post - I bow before you once again.
Beachgirl - sending something your way as well
Will PM the details later - these clients of mine keep getting in the way of leisure time.

My Marty Action figure doll better come with moveable parts and cannot be made like Ken doll with plastic hair and body parts missing. I want my Marty action figure doll to come with his own comb so I can style his hair and a red g-string to match all his outfits. If its not too much more expensive to add to my Marty doll, I would like my Marty doll to say OOOOOOOO AAAAAAAh, YES YES, Do heavy breathing from time to time, say I love you, Baby that was great and do you need a smoke. Is that too much to ask for? How much do you think I would pay for a Marty doll like that?

The Marty Action Figures are lifelike - the Marty Brigade went to great links to ensure authenticity in every respect. And hmmm. about that last request - Dramagirl - is there a Marty doll that you can program with your own sayings? (DG worked extensively on this aspect of the project). Look in the accessories for combs, g-strings etc.

I was listening to my Lovehammers CD. Then I heard these bells ringing and I thought to myself "What fool would pay for a car alarm with sleigh bells?" So I turned up the music and forgot about it. Then the ringing got louder so I went over to the window. I expected to see a car with headlights flashing and someone fumbling with their keys. Boy, was I wrong!
It was Santa's sleigh and there were four girls sitting in it. They kept waving at my house so I opened the door.
"Come on." Their voices chimed together. "We're going to a Marty party."
So I jumped in and the four of us got acquainted. We picked up Dramagirl and then straight off to the North Pole.
When we walked into "our" room we were greeted by our earlier project partners. Dramagirl and Suzjor were twirling around in circles, Ayesa86 was crawling around the sets checking them out, Timgar attached himself to Franny2 and Dinno grabbed my hand and pulled me close.
"Come on. I got something to show you." Then he grabbed radioclash and pulled her along too.
First he showed me the photo of myself that he had propped up on his table. How sweet. I signed it for him and he signed a little guitar for me. It was really special.
Then he showed us the elf tile and tape game which was a lot of fun and consisted of little tiles with measurements on them. There were little shot glasses and cans of Beernog. The object was to play the tile with the largest measurements first, use the tape measure to fill up your shot glass, yell "Go" and down the shot. The first one to run out of Beernog won.
Then in walked Marty, Miggy and Typodi and we all ran over. After them were the Lovehammers and the party was in full swing.
Ayesa86 was a little quiet until the Metro show started. Then she forgot about being shy and pumped fists along with the rest of us. Franny2 did a great job of describing those events.
Dino and I had some alone time outside. We had taken the cannon confetti and were throwing it on the snow angels that had been made earlier. We had some marvelous conversation about the direction his life was taking.
All too soon, it was time to head home. I perched on Dino's lap and he thanked me for bringing them all to the North Pole. He said he would always remember this night. Sadly, I knew it would only be in the deep recesses of his mind but I certainly understood the sentiment.
All too soon, we were back at my house and as I got out of the sleigh, Marty handed me an avatar bag with my favorite picture of Marty on it. I waved good-bye as the sleigh took off and went into the house. I looked in the bag and along with my fan doll that was clutching Marty's white jacket, there was the Marty Lovehammer doll I had been coveting with all the accessories I could hope for. Deep in the bottom of the bag was this note:
Dear Beachgirl
Thanks for all your dedication to this massive project. We couldn't have done it without you. When we get to Florida, we want you to be our personal guide. Until then, hugs from all of us.
Marty, Dino, Billy and Bobby
*Sigh* I can't wait.

oh Franny2 - I think you're setting up a smoke screen. What happened when you and Marty fell off the pillows into that corner? You guys didn't surface for about 15 minutes.

I thought "What happens in the North Pole stays in the North Pole" but I vaguely remember that. Course I did win the beernog game so things are all a little fuzzy.
