Now, I am going to be the voice of dissent here. LOL I am not a big fan of leather pants. And I saw the Friends episode last night where Ross wore leather pants. Ewwwwww! I am going to think of that whenever I see them now. JMHO. But then again, I admit that I don't care what pants Marty is wearing as long as I can hear him sing.   |

ugh let's leave Ross from friends out of this...he's not a rock god  surely there is more than 1 pic of him? He really does need to dust them off then, if only so we can have a bigger pics collection!! |

Still crack up thinking about Joey..."make yourself some paste pants". I don't think the leather pants may be such a good idea either. They might stick to him when he gets all sweaty, resulting in them staying up. That wouldn't be good. |

I don't know what it is but I don't like leather pants either. Some people think they look so sexy and they wear them and I just don't think they look good. Plus leather is very hard to move in. Can you imagine the chafing...lol. and like the other poster said they get hot enough up on stage without wearing leather. Maybe if he did wear them though he'd get so hot he'd have to take not only his shirt off but his pants too... |

ok... I have to share this with you all. My other Rock GOD... and Brenna knows who I'm talking about... John Taylor... wore leather pants for most of their tour. He likes them... looks good in them... and has assured all the fans that have asked him about it that he does not get hot in them. so I say... come on Marty... wear leather pants for us!! Just be sure to wear the really really low wasted ones!!  |

I agree Donna! JT wore them at an Atlanta show in JULY when it was about 100 degrees and there was no sweat that I could see...and I was right there at him in the front row!!! There are obviously ways to work with them. Like I said before, not everyone can pull them off, but sexy rock guys can. Everyone else, not so much! I think you guys that don't like them have obviously seen them on the wrong people or something...
Leather pants are a hot rock god's staple (Jim Morrison, Billy Idol, ETC). Marty is a blossoming hot rock god, so he may as well join those that came before him!

Donna, JOHN TAYLOR!?! Wow, I met him in the grocery store once, back in the day. I was going to say that of course JT doesn't get too hot cause he's so skinny, but then Marty is not exactly beefcake-y. So I'll shut up.
