It sounds like im not alone on this feeling. Marty has drawn all us middle age married women back into our past..longing after a rockstar. I too wish I could put a big Marty poster up in my room (hubby would kill me). Marty has me feeling like a teenager all over again! He is like a magnet sucking us all in. He's quiet the charmer!

My husband has put up with my Clay posters, so he'll have to go along with Marty posters too. I can't wait for some good Marty tour posters to hang up in my computer room! Marty is obviously intelligent (just look at his college major). And I think the combo of smarts, thoughtfulness, intensity and committment with excitement, foward-thinking, and plain excitement and sex-appeal just draw you in.

I have had to resort to having his pic as my screensaver on my PC at work. Yes I feel like a teenager, in fact I dont remember having this much respect for a rock singer / Celeb even back then. I guess it is a combination of intelligence and asthetic appeal.
And......according to an interview, he likes older women!! In fact he is the same age as my hubby!!

Agreed audly. It is the transformation. : soft, cute, & sweet, transforms into the hot intense volcanic eruption. What woman doesn't want both? Makes you want him more.

What is about him....
Certainly his Dr. Marty and Mr. Casey persona, but also...watch the last lines in Creep... That is the IT Factor. ;D

OK I want to hear from others. What do you think it is about him? There is just something so likeable about him. Maybe that's it. What do you all think? He has the "IT" factor running through every bone in his body.
He has "IT" the eyes, "IT" the voice, "IT" the sex appeal, "IT" charisma, "IT" energy.
It's definietly the "IT" factor hands down.
some people have it and some don't. He does.

Obviously he's a beautiful man but it's so much more than just that. It really isn't one thing in particular. It's just something that comes from inside of him. I really can't discribe it. There are not too many people who have that "special something", something that just draws people in, he's got it & it will take him whereever it is that God intends for him to be.

I just love his voice. Just hearing him speak in his raspy little voice totally does it for me. For me, the fact that he can sing and have such phenomenal stage presence is just a plus. I would pay just to hear him talk.

I would pay to hear Marty sing the Phone Book to me. Actually, he could just read it to me.

He is just magic! Off stage he is a rare breed....in my area we would say "he's good people". He is genuine, respectful of all, stands up for himself, never says a negative thing about anyone, and just seems like a good guy, which is very rare. Then he is so intense onstage. When he works that camera I turn to mush. He said in an interview something to the effect of "I don't have some amazing gift"....he really does not realize that he DOES have numerous amazing gifts.

Agree with all posts but most with mchell...intensity is always so alluring...I know I find it sexy. But then again, I'm a scorpio!

He is lean, tall, blonde, and so comfortable to look at. And there is a certain darkness in him, I am too sure myself, not gothic kinda darkness but just... something mysterious
Doncha think so?

Audly LOL! funny ;D. I am totally with you on this.Thats exactly what i have thought about him. He looks like he's not afraid to get dirty... erm metaphorically of course (or not). But also when you combine that with intelligence, sincerity, good looks and talent he's like the perfect man.

I have posted on numerous occasions in a number of threads on what I love about our beautiful rock star. I have almost run out of ways to say it.
What is it about Marty?
It is everything. You are right he is intense and it is that intensity that delivers him to us.
He gives us everything.
He says "Welcome to my cauldron" and rewards us with himself.
I love him.
I just love every inch of that beautiful, graceful, generous, intensely sexy, powerful, powerful man.
He is heaven.

Haha! It's everything about him. I know what finally "did me in" while watching Rock Star. I wasn't a devoted follower of the show (watched it about 3 or 4 times) until week 8. I sat on the couch and when it was announced he was singing "Wish You Were Here" I cranked up the tv because I absolutely love that song. When he started singing, I got up and parked myself right in front of the tv and just stared into his eyes. I could feel the emotion when he sang and was just praying he wouldn't lose it because I could tell the moment was getting to him. I even voted that night for the first time because I actually cared. That's what got me hooked. And now, I adore his smile and the way he talks. He plays the guitar, he's a great singer, and he is very easy on the eyes. I'm glad I'm not the only married lady who has gone ga-ga for Marty Casey!
