My Marty withdrawal syndrome is taking me to work, in my little office as a Probation/Parole officer in Illinois, and yes, I have this site as my only favorite at work, the bosses will never know. Yesterday was a very difficult day, just a quick story, lost 2 kids to the correctional system, and while I was running around with as much energy as I could muster to find any possible appeal for these kids that I could find, here they go and get onto my computer, and find Marty. I walk in and see 2 eyes that are just crying their eyes out and hearing Don't Change, over my speaker system. Oh man, what a moment. I went ahead and let them listen to the whole show, and it proved to be the most positive and inspirational moment in these kids life this year. It seems the only thing that they could relate to is music, and Marty's music is very powerful in so many ways, was awesome. They made me promise that I would 'hook them up' with his music when they are released back into the 'real' world, and now they have something to look forward to. Hear I thought I was loosing 2 very intelligent and misguided children, and it sure made me feel better. So, thank you Marty, for not only making my day a bit brighter, but for giving that power and positive energy to 2 very lost and troubled teens, I have a feeling they will be wanting their Marty fix very soon. This is way too funny! My husband thinks I'm nuts too! Marty this, Marty that! After I see him in Chicago next month I'm going to be a crazy person to live with! Can't wait! Rox

...knew I was feeling a bit under the weather lately, but I wasn't quite sure what is was. Thanks for the diagnosis. I wonder if my insurance plan will cover MWS treatment.

I thought i had finally done it . . . I went to work early today with great resolve to stick to my work and not go sneaking off to MartyCaseyLand again . . . had a great meeting with the boss about career pathing . . . got some training in . . . stopped myself at least 3 times from bringing Marty into a conversation with coworkers . . . thought I was well on my way out of "MWS" and on my way back into normality. . . then . . a coworker walks around the corner and offers to share with me a bowl full of . . . Pomegranate!!!!

WTF? Never, in all my years of working, has ANYONE . . . EVER . . . offered me Pomegranate before.

Needless to say, that was my undoing. All of my good intentions shot to h***and I'm back to writing on MartyCasey.org.

Some say there is no such thing as coincidence.
I believe then, that someone . . . somewhere . . . is telling me I am SUPPOSED to be obsessed right now. Do not turn away, do not exit . . . stay right on course.

I plan to do what I am told. ;D

Would it be modern rocker Marty like in Take Me Out, wild Marty like in What I Like About You; beautiful, barefoot Marty in I Alone; smiling, lighthearted Marty in acoustic Trees; or sensitive, emotional Marty like in Wish You Were Here.....

HURRY UP, DOC, HURRY UP! I'm in major withdrawal pain here. I need my next Marty fix, and I need it now!
