I love his long hair but I agree with other posters who said that the pics on the lh website of him with short hair are totally hot. Either way I'm right there!

Long. The angelic Lithium photo says it all. So what's with the blonde hair? I haven't seen this discussed. He has dark hair in older photos. Did anyone see that "Dell Ditty" video thing with the guy in the workout suit? He makes a comment "Marty, your roots look fantastic." Marty says "oh? thank you" If he is not a natural blonde, he must do the roots often. Does only his hairdresser know for sure? LOL

I wondered that too, mrsbud. I started out loving RS length long "blond" hair Marty, but I think I'd be into whatever Marty decided to do with his hair. I loved Orlando Bloom as blond Legolas in LOTR and I love his dark hair too!
Wonder if Marty took that blogthings quiz what his inner hair color would be?! LOL!

I like his hair long and brushed back from his face like in I Alone and the first Wish You Were Here, but the best way I like his hair is flopping all over the place when he is excited.

Marty got highlights put in his hair ... I do the same thing. Base color is dark blonde, with streaks of light blonde. I like the way it looked for both versions of WYWH, and for Creep.
I like the way Marty is confident enough to play with his hair color, use a little eye makeup, wear bracelets, paint his toenails ... and still come across as totally masculine.

I love that fact too, wendyc122...I'm of the solid belief that men who are confident enough and able to do "girly" things like dye their hair, wear make-up and jewelry, and be genuinely affectionate toward other men (hugging as friends, etc) and still maintain their masculinity are real men and the hottest men in existence.  ...It's funny, I have this girl I mentor and when she first saw Marty one of the first things she mentioned was how much she liked the fact that his hair color was lighter than the color of his eyebrows...go figure. ;D |

I think his eyebrows must be his natural hair color. I think he looks soooo hot as a blond! It really suits him. I love how he expresses himself, and if going blond(er) allows him to express another part of himself, then I'm all for it! (However, there are a few pics on the LH site where he had dyed his hair black. I hope he doesn't ever do that again!  That just didn't look right. He must have thought so, too, because he didn't keep that look.) Anyway, no matter how he wears his hair, he's always amazing.  |

Eyebrows don't always match the rest of the hair. I've seen plenty of men whose beards and eyebrows are a really different color from the hair on their heads. Even some women have eyebrows that don't match their natural color hair (mine are a little darker).
The lighter blonde does really suit Marty ... it also looks great under bright lights. Madonna once said she always does her hair blonde before a tour because it looks better on stage.
Marty's very smart, and really knows how to package himself. Each week he (and his hair) looked slightly different.
